I know at my last job loss prevention always built a good case before coming in, so I feel like there may be something your not telling us. Also keeping a cup and getting free refills on different days seems like pushing the rule, especially for 15 drinks. Assuming the drinks were ~$1.00 that is like taking $15 from the till from the companies point of view. It sucks, and seems like it was an overreaction but it seems like you are not completely in the clear either.
Sam's Club is better anyway
I hate Costco, it's overpriced to fuck and requires a membership. We got banned from our local store cause Wachovia didn't authorize a check from them, they are picky fucks. I love Sam's Club more then Costco, try to find one down there,
Also keeping a cup and getting free refills on different days seems like pushing the rule, especially for 15 drinks.
They could of, you know, warned me that what I was doing was fringing on against policy instead of letting it play out for almost two months, then roasting my ass.
This will get you past security
umm yeah refills are free but keeping a cup and then coming back and using again is retarded because then you arent a paying customer just a douchebag stealing precious pop [editline]27th February 2012[/editline]
They could of, you know, warned me that what I was doing was fringing on against policy instead of letting it play out for almost two months, then roasting my ass.
ARE YOU SERIOUS you have to be utterly fucking retarded to think free refills actually work that way lmao oh wait op is the same dude who believed digimon were real i am no longer suprised

OP, don't fight it. Trust me. These corporations have 50 lawyers for each store, and chances are you'll end up blowing your own money and at best getting your job back. Even then, it's probably a part time job and you'll be looked down upon for getting into this mess. There are better jobs out there anyway.
I never said anything about the justification of his sacking and banning. Just that it is retarded to bring back used cups from a food outlet that you store in your locker and expect free drinks. WHY WOULD IT WORK THIS WAY Burger King - buy one drink; UNLIMITED DRINKS FOR LIFE [editline]27th February 2012[/editline]
also to the best of my knowledge MIPS was just posting about other people believing digimon were real
if that is the best of your knowledge holy shit MIPS is the alt of pentium

I did admit that at one pint I did something that was a no-no and another that wandered into a gray area but I couldn't understand was why they ballooned a small petty situation into something that sounded like I fucking pulled a knife on someone while in line for chicken strips and then robbed the place and accordingly made sure I could not even step foot on the property again. Also, thank you for the continued reminder that I'm obviously insane... Retarded.... Brain damaged... You think I'm genuinely proud of that shit? Thanks for rubbing it in my face whenever you think it's fair to bring the topic up.
np bro would do it any time
Despite how bad I feel for you, I will never boycott Costco's massive, artery-clogging pies and delicious pizza. auguguh my stomach is grumbling
Word, looking for my job right now. TRY LIVING ON THE ISLAND. Damn near impossible.
I live on the Island, chill as fuck and easy to get a jerb.
You should probaly just complain with the BBB and hope for the best. It's not good business practices to ban someone from the store for something stupid like that.
Only thing I know about Costco is that there is one in Salt Lake where my grandma lives, and she buys me the best socks ever from there. The best. Socks. Ever.
Costco makes AWESOME food. I especially love the pizza (so huge :v: ) You could either: Attempt an espionage mission [UNREALISTIC] Or... Stick your middle finger up and wave it at them in court [PLAUSIBLE]

I have a habit of buying small piles of hersheys sundae pies when I get off work.
Word, looking for my job right now. TRY LIVING ON THE ISLAND. Damn near impossible.
I live in Victoria. Easy as hell, my boss is so nice. My first job I got at Thrifty's, I applied when they weren't hiring and got a job. At my current job, I walked in, handed in my Resume, talked to the boss, and got hired on the spot. That was the first place I went to. My friend needed a job too so I recommended him and he got hired immediately after the interview. Finding work isn't hard. Lots of places don't advertise they are hiring because they prefer to hire on internal recommendation but if your resume/personality is good, you can get hired. The local Nissan Dealership hired my friend because he was nice, not because he has experience or tons of references.
Id recommend phoning up in tears and saying that you need the money to pay for your pets medical bills, you have realized your mistake and will not do it again. Try asking for like 2 weeks unpaid work to pay for the "stolen" goods. good luck

If they know you need the job to survive, they'll make you their bitch.
When was the last time a 13 year older got a job at a food court?
IIRC you have to be at least 18 to work at Costco.
This might sound dumb, but get your story out on Reddit and stuff. I forgot why this helps.
Low life no life job dont let it get to you.
I remember working in a grocery store. I won't even lie we were pretty irresponsible and stupid. Someone would always take a case of coke and punch it so it was "damaged" and just put it in the backroom area and in between running around everyone would be grabbing a can of coke to drink. [editline]29th February 2012[/editline] We also went way too fast on those little trolleys that carry stuff but we could usually control them fine. One day this one kid did it while he had those big water jugs piled high and ended up flooding half the store practically when he crashed into a wall
