The 3 quid ones tend to break/wear out much easier. Ones I got from primark broke after I pulled the lace slightly too hard.
well that's never good.
Fuck man stop ninjaing me
I got the primark ones pretty much all of last summer, I needed new ones every month or so. Or in one case, they lasted 3 days. In my opinion go for vans, they wear down quick, but I think they look better like that. I've had mine since Christmas and I have a small hole near the toe on one. And the inside of the heel is a bit fucked but that happens to all my shoes. I have these ones Also, I'm liking these at the moment. Just need some money to spend on them.
I just bought a new pair of Vans, these ones. Tried on some Toms today, they feel awesome. Gonna buy 'em next weekend.
Vans, or just those cheap plimsolls that you get at Target and shit. [editline]21st May 2011[/editline] Vans never go wrong.
vans are awful, just get some chucks [editline]22nd May 2011[/editline]
y/n?
ignore all the wannabe indie sperglords, get converses
converses own
vans are awful, just get some chucks [editline]22nd May 2011[/editline] ignore all the wannabe indie sperglords, get converses
converses are horrible, i guess it maybe depends on where you come from but here the only people who wear converse are like tweenage greenday fans who are trying to show how ~pUnK~ they are. i had some of the hitops when i was like 13 and they were maybe the most uncomfortable shoes i've ever worn in my life and took an age to put on.
I need some new shoes as my vans are in a state after a year and a bit of owning them. Anyone got some suggestions? I was thinking of just getting another pair of vans but I'm not sure what style to get.

Buying these today, my agent is waiting for me to turn 6 ft (I'm 5' 11) before she starts sending me to legit castings so in the mean time she wants me to get some boots that will make me look taller for castings. Plus they're nice as fuck, $300 but I found a guy selling for $150 on Kijiji.
i hope they're not for casual especially for that price the piss colored sole or whatever that is doesn't look to good but I can see the shoe working with some formal khakis
I wouldn't let them rot in my closet but they wouldn't be an everyday item, like I said I need them for castings. Also I spend a lot more money on clothes than the average facepuncher. I have expensive taste.

Don't mind the pajamas I'm wearing, I didn't feel like putting on jeans for a photo. Anyways I just got this new shirt and this new bag at H&M today, fucking awesome stuff. [editline]21st May 2011[/editline]
Buying these today, my agent is waiting for me to turn 6 ft (I'm 5' 11) before she starts sending me to legit castings so in the mean time she wants me to get some boots that will make me look taller for castings. Also I hear agencies usually boost up heights up about 1 to 2 inches for models, is this true? Because lots of models I know are usually like 5'10" or 5'11", only some I know are like 6'. It's weird.

Also I wouldn't wear a blazer with sneakers either, take Taggart's advice and get some dressier for wear with a blazer.

For guys, the image you're projecting is that you're trying to look cool and failing at it really badly.
How does this outfit look: Also aftermath of trying to off-road down a wet grassy and bumpy hill on a road bike, still hasn't healed properly after a few weeks (it's very deep):
