also, if you are taking the PSAT, you are either 8-10th grade. At 10th grade you can take the SAT I believe in some circumstances. If you are that young, just get out. You probably look like a baby any way.

What I meant was that if someone see's a person wearing something they find stupid, then it's their problem for that negativity, and so the unaffected hat wearer won't have to deal with the stressed out dude (even though it's no big deal).
If you can't get over someone doing something like wearing a type of hat, then you're just hurting yourself.

The test has 129 questions, so I got 114 or so (I forget now, it was a while ago), and I made a percentage from there.

Its only the PSAT... the Terra Nova has more of an impact than that even though it is good practice for SAT.

I know what style is, I just don't like white trash style, I like slick leather jackets (read:modern day, not the one's from the 50s), hoodies, and plain old jeans, pretty casual stuff.

-With these, try to avoid really, really loud colors or patterns for the most part. Trust me, they do look cool to you, but you'll find that, for the most part, subtlety is the way to go with hoodies.
-Don't have your hoodie too large. Baggy hoodies look quite stupid.

As a guy, it's important to have shirts that fit you. The above picture is a good example of a shirt that fits. Sleeves go about 1/2 to 2/3 the way down your bicep, and the bottom of the shirt rests at about 2 inches above your hips. Shirts that are too small look pretty dumb, unless you've got sufficient muscle to show off (even then, careful with it). Shirts that are too big look stupid, as a previous poster so kindly demonstrated.
[b]Things to note about shirts:[/b]
-Graphic Tees: These can be ok, if and only if their designs are sparing, and the shirts are nice in and of themselves, and fit you.

-If you feel the need, you can also buy undershirts. They allow you to be a tiny bit warmer, and can be flattering in their own right, if you have the muscle underneath. These should usually be smaller than the immediately outer layer of clothing, and can be either muscle shirts or white t-shirts.

Jeans are definitely the most broad and fashionable kind of pants, if you're going for casual dress. The OP does a pretty good job of describing jeans, but make note that it's important to get jeans that look good for [i]you[/i].

But, take note that a relatively small percent of girls like skinny jeans, and as such, it's a gamble; if you can wear skinnies well, those girls will really like it, but they won't [i]dislike[/i] straight legs or bootcuts, and you won't lose any points with the girls who don't like skinnies.
-Sagging. What an odd phenomenon. Anyway. I'd recommend against it, because it looks stupid as shit. Invest in a legitimate leather belt, and keep your pants at waist level. When trying on jeans, make sure you use said belt, or at least wear them at the level you're going to wear them if you buy them.

Shoes are the "cherry on top" to an outfit. What a lot of people don't really understand is that shoes are often the very first thing most people notice about an outfit. As such, the most important thing is that your shoes match with your clothes (I'll explain matching later).
Unlike other things, you can get a lot more varied with shoes. It all depends on who you are.

-Socks. Please, for the love of god, if you're wearing shorts, don't have white socks that are higher than your shoes. Maybe this is just a pet peeve, but it looks stupid as fuck.
-Make sure your shoes fit. If your shoes are too small, then they'll be uncomfortable after the end of the day. If they're too big, you'll probably look foolish, or your feet will be flopping out of the back of your shoe, which is irritating to no end, and on top of that, you can't run well in either case.
-Try the shoes on the way you're going to wear them. Take the time to lace up the display shoe the way you would wear them, and try to see if you like them. If you're going to wear your shoe untied, try that shoe on untied, to get a good idea of how the fit is.
[b]-Matching[/b]
Matching clothes is the idea that your clothes' colors match with one another, as in, they look good together. This is usually pretty easy to eyeball, so I'll just give some pointers.
-No jumpsuits. By this I mean, don't wear a top and bottom of the same color. It looks stupid.
-White and black match with everything, especially each other. As such, white and black shirts/shoes are good to invest in. Careful with white though, as it requires a lot of attentiveness and cleaning.
-Keep your colors muted, if possible. Don't have a lot of very bright colors. Again, subtlety is key. However, it's ok to have a shirt or shoes that are, say, bright blue, so long as they match with whatever you're wearing.
-Colors often match well with very similar ones on the color wheel. For example, if one were to wear a light green hoodie with the converses I posted earlier, it would look good.
