Just bought a pair of these chinos off topman for like 28 pounds, which is a steal considering they go for $100 here in Australia.
How many people here can keep clothes for years, if they aren't outgrown or damaged?
A t-shirt can last maybe a year, bit more if its nice, button up shirts can last longer, especially if its a formal shirt or something. Jeans can last years and years if you take care of them and you like the faded look.

I wear sweaters. Pretty much just sweaters. The more Cosby the sweater, the more I wear it. I sometimes bring a pack with eight or nine sweaters in it with me to work so that I can wear a different sweater for every hour I'm on duty. Some people question my sense of fashion, but I think that most non-affliction-shirt-wearing folk would agree that a nice knit sweater is a fun and unique way to look like a convicted sex offender.
As you can imagine, this is a great icebreaker!
Person 1: "Hey man, you wouldn't happen to be a convicted sex offender, would you?"
Person 2: "Actually, no, but I can see why you might think that given my sweater! It's good to see that you're staying on your toes!"
There you go, a life-long friend formed simply because you wore a nice sweater to the bus stop!
If anyone gets the Van slip ons, they're nice and comfy but very bad for your feet. That's why after a bit i decided to switch to adidas trainers.
Depends on the texture of the jeans and how they look like the stitching and such. Is the red shirt a plain red color? And what would the vans look like?
this post needs more information or pictures. Red and black do look good together on certain people.
:v: Wearing a V-neck sweater over a collared shirt is actually quite stylish.

Argyle sweaters seem to be making a random comeback as of recent.
I wear blue jeans and navy blue topsider sperry's everyday. I don't care what shirt I wear, but I usually wear a polo (I only have 2), a brown thermal, a blue t-shirt with a hard rock cafe graphic, or a v-neck. Sometimes I put red and white flannels on, sometimes black and white. Do I have a good fashion sense.

Also true.
HAIR: Not sure if this has been brought up, but some more good hair styling products include anything by Redken for Men, preferably:
High Rise, a wax: http://www.lookfantastic.com/hair/redken/redken-for-men/redken-for-men-high-rise-hard-wax-50ml.html
Or a paste called Redken #12 http://www.uncrate.com/men/body/hair/redken-12-rough-paste/
FRAGRANCES: Good choice of cologne which I use, is Dolce & Gabbana's Light Blue. Or you can go with something with more spiciness, Givenchy's Play Intense http://www.amazon.com/PLAY-INTENSE-Givenchy-Mens-Cologne/dp/tech-data/B001R1U7OK
CLOTHES: Good place to start for a classier look is Express Men. Great products and they're definitely affordable.
There's a website which sells designer products for men only at ridiculous prices, with different products being sold each day. It's invite-only, so if you want an account you'll have to get a referral link or an e-mail invite. Just so you guys are WELL AWARE, yes this is my referral link so I do get a bonus for you using it: http://www.gilt.com/invite/killeyaustin
Jeans and a T-shirt with offbrand Chucks. All day, everyday.

If you live in Asia or Europe: theres a product line over there from Bench/ called FiX. It's excellent aswell. They're a UK outfitter. They might be in other places aswell. I just know they're not in the US.

I live in the US but thanks for the heads-up. I went to look at their site but it's pretty much broken.
I saw them in Asia only. I haven't seen them anywhere on the West Coast.
Apparently there's a "Bench." that's in the UK and it's the same thing as "Bench/" in Asia and the Asian one which claims to be from HK is from the UK.
I'm so fucking confused.
I was able to find some really nice Blue Suede Shoes online for like 40$, and must I say they look really nice. I have gotten many many compliments on them. They can make you look very classy.

(You didn't hear it from me, but I think sweaters are wickedly stylish).

help
-Graphic Tees: These can be ok, if and only if their designs are sparing, and the shirts are nice in and of themselves, and fit you.
Do:

Don't:

Both of those graphic tees look really shitty, I always wear graphic tees but only ones that I know look fucking awesome.
I'm not one for fashion, but googling "flat-brimmed" on images gave these results.

[img_thumb]http://www.wiskate.com/news/data/upimages/tim_tizzy.jpg[/img_thumb]
Also, everyone I've seen wearing a flat-brim looks like a good person to punch in the face.
Coincidence? I think not.
Wear a flat-bill slightly bent and not tilted or propped, like in the Bronx.
i just wanna add - what should i be doing for hair?
i've got a squarish kind of heart shaped face if that helps. so far i've been using kind of a bieber-cut (just a bit longer).

I mean...I personally don't like dusty lumber. Sorry. :frown:
I mean...I personally don't like dusty lumber. Sorry. :frown:
Lol that's fine, it doesn't exactly suit everyones style but I don't actually wear DL shirts all the time either, I'm just saying that example was terrible.
I know what style is, I like slick leather jackets
It all makes sense now.
I mean...I personally don't like dusty lumber. Sorry. :frown:
The bracelet is the only thing I wear from them, the graphics are too big.

I guess I'm not really an authority on it anyway. I literally own 0 graphic tees.

Exactly, I like the bear one but it seems overbearing.
(Pun sorta-intended)
anyone
wear what you like
anyone
you're okay sounds good to me
anyone
Except for the black and white flannel, yes, you have good fashion sense.
There's a difference between dressing fashionably and dressiong stylishly. Dress to what suits you, what makes you look good and complements your figure and looks, you dont have to follow the latest trends to look good, because if you dress to suit you, people will notice.
