I love shoes that make good sounds. I love to walk down an empty hall and hear the tap, clack or bump of a good pair of shoes on my feet.

Also the Timberlands are usually sold here in outdoor places as hiking boots. Not that they wouldn't be good at that, but it's not the best looking thing around.

I'd rather have them look like dr.martens than be mistaken for chunky school shoes.
