I was in a hipster bar earlier this week.
You cannot grasp how much I felt I didn't belong with the clientel.
The bar staff were cool though.

As much as I love wearing work boots, they aren't the best looking things around.
Also to anyone else, if you think those boots are shit, suggest other sites which have nice boots. I'm just after something that doesn't look like I just came off a construction site.
Get Harley Davidson boots or Doc Martens, the harley boots are comfortable as fuck, and Doc's are awesome but they take fucking ages to break in and just about chewed through my achilles heel in the first month of breaking em in.
I had a pair of steel toe harleys a lot like them, they were fucking amazing, easily the most comfortable thing i've ever wore.
Fuck it I'm gonna buy another pair of harleys.

i second the doc martens
If you get Doc's though make sure they fit right and wear them constantly for at least a month with two pairs of thick as fuck socks and plasters on your heels.
The advantage of the harleys are that they are just awesome as fuck and easy as fuck to wear straight off, took a week or so to get them to bend easily and the lik but after that you could go running in them if you wanted.

I can get along with Hipsters although I barely fit in their clique, I don't think i've seen an overtly hipster bar in Nottingham yet though. The closest thing i can think of is The Rescue Rooms.

That's the same size my cousin wears, so they'd look fine. They're black so they'd go with everything.
I've never worn Toms.
I prefer Nikes. Not necessarily because of the style but because they fit my feet best
