I never really use hair products, but I assume the Fiber stuff works pretty well since it lets you mess with your hair.
Matte clay, use a blob on your finger rub it into your hands and apply on your hair, starting from the back.
ah well. my hair's much too short at this point for me to seek advice on the hair-care front anyway. only about a month of outgrowth from a buzzcut.

Anyone who gels up their hair got some tips? My fauxhawk seems very inconsistent. I follow the directions on my gel bottle but sometimes the gel won't hold or I can't get it perfectly straight or some other shit.

I've never been a fan of long hair on men. There's a good resource on hairstyles in the OP. Really depends on your facial type, because the idea is you want to enhance your good facial traits and hide the bad ones, and usually enhancing does the trick of hiding.
There's this one website that lets you see what you'd look like with hairstyles. I've never used it so I dunno what to tell you, when I change my hair I just go balls out and hope it looks good.
