I'm a guy with long hair, but I take very good care of it. I never go more than two days without washing it, and I clean it very thoroughly with shampoo and conditioner.
And people say I look better with long hair.

Also posture, expression, and movement can make or break your appearance.
Stand straight, but to the point where you look silly, just relaxed and confident.
Keep a lighthearted look on your face, but not a creepy smile.
Walk smoothly and at a moderate pace.
No negative body language either, such as firmly crossed arms.
Every other man in the UK seems to wear either these:

And I bloody hate them. I personally am starting to go towards some of the American brands like Quicksilver, DC and Billabong, even though only skaters seem to wear it over here.
I think that once you start wearing boots, you can't stop. I started wearing them last year, and it feels so weird wearing normal shoes now.
I agree, last year I bought my first pair of boots for something that would last. Non steel toed, good overall boots but I outgrew them. I moved onto my second pair of boots which where steel toed, good boots put they fell apart in 2 months near the toes.
My current pair are solid black, steel toed, intended for northern oil rig work I wear them every day, from winter to summer. I used to wear hiking shoes but now all I ever wear is my boots. I'm 6'4, with my boots on I'm 6'5 or something which makes me hit my head alot.
Alot of my friends have tried on my boots and don't look quite as good in them, due to barely scraping 6'0 and having a foot size 4 times smaller than mine. Only certain people can pull them off without looking our of proportion. I think I do it quite well as I wear a pair of triple layer carhartts all the time which is intended to go with the boots.
Current boots/very very similar to what they are, might be a newer model.

Freaking evil boots. Only complaint is that the heel is a big slab of rubber, wish they could have incorperated it a bit better into the design, stands out too much.
I have recently switched out my trainers for cheap plain black plimsolls which you can pick up in Primark for £5 a pair.
They are really comfortable and although they are only £5, they last a decent amount of time before they start to wear/tear, and they look just as good as any other pair.
Also if you have an okay build its good to get t-shirts in a small size which cling to you, I generally wear some nice jeans and a tight top, which is high enough to show off the belt most of the time. I also wear my headphones around my neck a lot, they arent very big/chunky, I think they look okay >

Wow, you sure don't seem like a colorful type.
What are the "rules" for diamond studs on guys? Also, I don't want to come off gay. Not cause I'm a homophobe or anything but I prefer to be seen as straight.
Graphic tees, gelled hair and shirts from express will succeed in making you look like a club douche instead of anyone respectable or stylish.
I am trying to find a vest like this but no luck, mainly want orange tinted red, hourglass-ish shape and the 80s shoulderpad esque arm hole angle. I also want it to be in leather so it can protect me a bit if I fall off the bike.

What do you think of these. They look like casual ben shermans.
I think it looks horrible and uncomfortable.
I don't like black jeans, I find white or light more stylish ( atleast on me ). And if you wear like jeans n shirt then you are going to get bonus points if you have some muscles

Aldo has a very similar kind of shoe for about 50$. I'd link it but I'm out and on a phone.

You can't fake body language with ease, nor just 'be relaxed and confident' unless you are actually relaxed and confident. General quality-of-life improvement can help that.

The thing is, if you do MMA, it doesn't matter if people think your clothes are stupid because you can kick their ass.

I've only ever seen birds wear those, where do you hail from?
I've always wanted to wear a suit everyday but it's just not practical so I wear slogan t-shirts with plaid shirts over them so I look like a cretin.

I think it switches coast to coast, actually. I may be completely wrong though. At least where I live, right is gay. But I've heard on the east coast it's the opposite. I circumvented the problem by getting both done. But yeah, keep them small, and not obnoxious.
Gaybows.

Actually wearing them with the right outfit is amazing. Especially when you pair them up with suits, I have no clue why it looks so cool though.
[editline]1st March 2011[/editline]
But usually the right kind of boots to pull off with suits would be combat boots like these:

That is, provided, you can rock it. It's like trench coats, you either pull them off well, or look very weird wearing them.

No no no fucking no. Don't bastardize suits, please.
[editline]28th February 2011[/editline]
You look like a dumbass, really, if you wear a suit and then combat boots. If you're trying to be taken seriously, that isn't the way.
We're still posting pictures of ourselves, right? Old photo, crap quality. Also, I look less pale when the picture is tinted, and I still remember Jaanus making fun of my extremely pale skin. :saddowns: I'll probably upload a better one tomorrow or something.
Any tips?

Oooh, okay. Well, I usually wear a t-shirt and jeans. Are layers still in fashion? Like, putting a tank top under a low cut shirt and the like?
Tip for everyone: Buy some Levis when they are on sale. They last forever.
