If anything I would have thought that Africa and places like Darfur would be places where the other countries would try and help. In a sense it seems they have a little but human slaughtering and suffering doesn't quite seem to be enough incentive for them to really do much.
I think Iraq was good for them though. Saddam was committing crimes against humanity. I guess it's a step in the right direction.

Yes but that's not enough. I remember hearing a story about a person there trying to promote the use of condoms. To demonstrate, he showed a family how to use a condom with the help of a broom handle (obviously, it was embarrassing to use himself). After a some time he returned to check on the family and found, to his surprise, that they had another child. When being told that the condom didn't work, the volunteer asked how he had been using the condoms. It seemed that everytime before the man had sex, he would take a condom and put it over the broom handle.
