Those saying try the "American culture" obviously have never been to Miami, it's not called Little Cuba for nothing.
We're such awful people because the original "culture" was displaced by our ancestors that we had no control over. Considering several different groups colonized North America, we took the original culture from those countries and it has changed over time. Chinese-American food and culture is much different from chinese (HURFDURF MSG AMERICA U SUK U SO FAT), as is Mexican-American. I fucking hate people that have nothing better to do than hate on a country they know little about. It's like if I started to bitch about Luxembourg for bullshit reasons. You haven't been here, you don't know what living here is like. Yes, there are fat people, yes there are rednecks, but they don't make up 100% of the population. OT, small town cafes are really nice. If you're going to New York there are a good amount of colorful bars, if you're of age. If nothing else, take a look at the local landmarks, go to museums, learn about the history. Very interesting stuff.
Holy shit, it's different everywhere. It's just that America has about 0% of their own.
Holy shit, it's different everywhere. It's just that America has about 0% of their own.
america has been the trendsetter of world culture for the past 50 years anyone who states that America has no culture is wrong and has no idea what they're talking about
More seriously, go get a burger. A truly greasy burger. Slather that thing in bacon and ketchup and whatever the hell else. Also get a hot dog. Those are the two most American foods I can think of. I don't care if they are fattening they are fucking good. Oh, and get some takeout Chinese food. There isn't much that is more American than that. I'm serious.
america has been the trendsetter of world culture for the past 50 years anyone who states that America has no culture is wrong and has no idea what they're talking about
Of course it does, America has culture, just not remarkable. Not at all, actually. And highly influenced from the rest of the world. Other than that, sure it has.
Spray paint a car with "GAYS<3" Or "Christians ftw!" and be shot at by AK-47's and pistols. Stole this shit from Top Gear.
Troll the people there, they are all dumb and uneducated, so they are all easy to troll. Also question their government and say something against the Iraq war and they go apeshit.
Stupid jokes aside, I've traveled to quite a few states throughout my life and 4 states in the past 2 years through the military. There's a lot. The food is the best to be honest.. I've never been to Florida but be glad it'll be nice out there. Miami is a big city so no doubt there will be all kinds of ads for all kinds of stuff to do. You just have to go find it. Also, you'll see a lot of different types of people. I'd be a horrible liar if I tried to say there aren't fat people in America, but that's just how we are. There's pretty much any type of person you can think of here. And take the advice of Mr. Sun. "little mom and pop businesses" will show you the true way. These are the places that aren't the mainstream McDonald's and sell the same burgers you'll see anywhere else. Oklahoma had the biggest burger ever (which I sadly didn't get to try while I was stationed in Texas) and I'm sure North Carolina has some kind of food tradition. Food really is where you'll see the differences.. so try as much as you can. Hell there are fast food restaurants here that aren't in Minnesota where I'm from, and ones I never saw in Texas or Mississippi, or when I went to Vegas. Take advantage of what you can see. There will be something you like to do you will just have to find it.
stationed... military? So is my dad. Yes OP. Once you get off the plane you will immediately start seeing ads to do stuff from scuba diving, surf boarding to tours of the city. There's a huge variety of stuff to do there not to mention the history if you are interested in that. Lots of Indian ruins, forts, you name it in Florida. Don't worry, you'll have tons of fun. If you can't find any tours or aren't interested in it. Just living the lifestyle is fun. Florida is a big vacation spot for Europe and New England Americans so most likely you'll love it.

Me and my brothers just came up with a great way to have fun in some of those over the top conservative, christian hicktowns! have you seen that Top Gear episode where they piss off a bunch of hicks? it's very much like that actually. Just position yourself on some street corner and starts talking about how Adolf Hitler died for our sins! Basically say anything that Jesus did but instead of jesus, talk about Hitler. Make sure someone is on a safe place far away filming everything.

oh! i almost forgot! you're gonna want to have some kind of escape plan too i guess.. aaaugh! my automerge!
America haters tend to be ignorant fucking idiots who aren't from America. People from other shitty countries who have only seen the "fat uneducated culture-less" side of America and choose to only see/understand that.
As I said, not remarkable, not at all...
silicon valley, then.
As I said, not remarkable, not at all...
haha wow shut up
Florida? Go to Leesburg and hunt down a place called The Oakwood. Good food to be had there.
haha wow shut up
Got no argument, dont fucking reply!
As I said, not remarkable, not at all...
Jazz? Cars? Hippies? Coke? You know Rock was inspired by Jazz? And also Rap? Ignore this guy people. He's either a troll or missing half his brain. little info on Jazz and the Blues. It was sung by slaves or indentured servants while they were working. They would sometimes sing in code or speak slang (where we get some of the ebonic slang from) They would literally sing the blues to communicate with other slaves. Organize uprisings or escape attempts. You cannot say that isn't awesome.
Go to Las Vegas and sample the Hookers.
Got no argument, dont fucking reply!
i dont argue with someone who is obviously just trying to get a rise out of side of the argument he opposes
Got no argument, dont fucking reply!
what do you have to say about silicon valley leading to the creation of the computer culture that's swept the entire world then
