No actually, Sylar's original power is [sp]The ability to know how things work. Thus if he knows how his brain works, he can also know how to change it to do other things too. So he looks at the brains of other people with abilities to see what to change in his brain.[/sp]

No i think because [sp]he has the ability to know how things work, that he is able to find how the powers of others work by searching their brains, and thus being able to change his own to steal their powers.[/sp]

Seeing as how claire can now not feel pain, i believe that some of the heroes, if not all have the ability to adapt their powers during life or death situations and such. Claire adapted them so that she didn't feel pain while sylar was messing with her brain, and we know nicki was in that bulding when it blew up, and we just saw her freeze the guy, so nicki adapted her powers to freeze up as the building blew up. No i don't think it is her "twin" or something. I believe this is VERY probable seeing as there are two cases of this happening.[/sp]

I believe he is becoming some type of reptile because he is, seemingly, growing some type of scales on his back, and in the preview we saw his hand as i thought i saw, semi-webbing and slimey.
