They need a better plot than "let's go into the future oh wait a minute the earth dies we must save everyone".
This is the third iteration of it and it's getting kind of old.

Just finished watching the newest episode. Meh. It just isn't as captivating as it used to be.
I loved the first season to death, thought the second season was incredibly flawed but had its moments,and was fairly excited by the season three two hour premiere. Now, it's just getting ridiculous. I really hope they bring everything back on track in the next few episodes, because right now it seems that they're making it up as they go along.
And yeah, lets get a new plot line other than "Go to future, see it's bad, come back and fix it."

They do need to think up some different premise.
Not saying I hate it, but the show can't go on repeating the same general storyline of visiting the future, going back to the past, fixing the present/past, then going back to the future to see if it is OK.

It's not really that I don't understand the plot. It's just more convoluted than Season 1.
I miss the greatness of Season 1. There was actual character development.
Now all there is to look forward to is black Isaac, Hiro being Japanese, and Future Peter's bad acting.
Still WAY better than Season 2 though.
Entertaining but less spectacular than season 1. Things get a little predictable at times. And Hiro is turning into the Jar Jar Binks of Heroes.

I think the best character of Season 3 is Sylar so far.
He is the only one with any real development going on, introducing the fact that the only reason he kills is a "hunger" deepens his character and shows that he may be fundementally good apart from what his ability drives him to do.

Sylar's son being named Noah was pretty nice, though. I will give the last episode that.
Even though there seemed to be a lot of plot holes, ability-wise.
Has anyone Thought of Flint using his flamethrowing abilitie to Propelle himslef to fly and to use super speed?????
