I really liked how they incorporated the music. I feel that, more than anything else, is what set this episode above the others.

I agree with Claire not coming back, she's been tolerable for the last few eps but generally she's a pain in the ass. The fat bastard, Doyle I think his name is, could be cool. They just haven't really given him the chance to be yet...

So far they're doing a good job in leaving the viewer wanting more.
Meh, last night's episode felt like filler. Nothing really happened.
Heroes is reminding us that it's a soap opera by interjecting religion every five seconds.

...and new family members and secret dark pasts. I still love it though, or rather, I'm still addicted. Seemed like a pretty solid episode, only a few bits of scrappy writing (parkman nearly shoots danko's ho, then just goes emo and submits himself to death? not even an attempt to mindwarp danko? come on). I'm a little annoyed that they're pulling the "make up new secret past instead of staying in the present" trick again, it's shallow.
If I started watching now would I get any of it?

Yeah, did Matt suddenly forget how to use his powers? He could have done so much in that scene.
What I would have done: Gotten into Danko's mind, making him think his girl was there, and then killing her (not actually killing her, though, just in Danko's mind)

If he did that, danko's girl wouldn't know any of that shit, and still love him. And danko would be happy again when he found out it was all an illusion.

Technically, it could happen in the real world, it's just VERY unlikely.
I like it better this way than have it mentioned in season 2, and not revealed fully until now.
