We were initially talking about CAIs only which means cold air. But most SRIs have a large enough diameter that the air volume makes up for the heat.
anyway I've got an apexi filter.
£200 but best filtration and power gains in test I've seen.

I had the long ratio gearbox in my old DX coupe (it had a CX drivetrain swap in it. Why? I dunno. 8 valve D series are god awful slow). Glad to have an Si gearbox in my CRX. Now it's a quick jump from 1st to 2nd and then when I get up to highway speed, straight into 5th for some cruising. 3rd and 4th are the least used gears in my car.

I don't think the gears are that far, I think the car is just really slow. Also it's in km/h.

yep, and I replaced one of the hose from my BOV to the accordian hose (after the AFM) with a part of yard hose (used for watering the plants). Temporary fix

You could make a recirculation house out of anything. Duct tape if you wanted. Doesn't matter too much.

well, it's quite close to the turbo and very hot there, a hose out of ductape would be catastrophic, also the hose I used almost melted during the ride home (it was all sticky and shit).
Why was it so close to the turbo? O.o
was missing a heatshield at that time. no biggie it's all back in place.
plus I just received my new BOV (bosh generic, but still).
