I plan on going for freshman basketball, I've played for the past 4 years and I think I could make it.
You're preaching to the choir.
EDIT: It's homicide, not manslaughter. Manslaughter is murder without intent to kill.
Oh well, what I said still stands, murder is not funny.
get yourself some inner connections, you are either the bitch or the dog your choice.
I can't think of any advice to give nor can I think of any reason why any type of advice would be useful.
Highschool is easy as shit.

Basically it's a panic attack, I can't help it and I understand it's a bit ridiculous and over the top.

That's good, just be yourself!
I remember my first day. Confusion, was scared. All the teachers warned us about the classic shit they have on TV- beating up on freshmen and swirlies and shit, and everyone believed them. Don't make eye contact and stay out of their way and you'll be fine, so they said and so we did.
Yup, fun times. Had to believe it's been 3 years starting in 20 days. Senior year. Blech.
Anyhow, actual advice: None. Just be normal, act normal. Ya, it sucks at times but mostly from the social situations and not with the school itself. Depends really what type of school you go to, too.
Do good on your grades. In High School they actually count!!
High school has been a fucking breeze so far.
I don't understand why there are so many horror stories about it.
television
Yeah high school is fucking easy. As long as your not a social outcast, then it will be a living hell for you...
My best friend's brother is in the year above and therefore I'm friends with a good amount of soon-to-be sophomores, whom most of which like me. I always thought that'd be an advantage.
I know the a lot of ones taking the same education as me, but 1 grade above me. This has helped me a lot!!
Otherwise just try 'n' be yourself when it comes to personality 'cause if you go bully-style and you really are a complete
nerd that takes the week of just to play starcraft 2, then you will be sorry for yourself because of the double identity.
forgot to mention: One of the guys i know usually wears a cape. yes a medieval cape. But no one gives him shit 'cept cocky teenagers (middle scholl, remember). And a girl in my class always thinks of sex, usually loudly, and is generally weird, but everyone (and then i mean everyone) loves her.
I also live in sweden which might change some stuff, but i really doubt it.

I started using the Internet on dial-up when I was in kindergarten or about there. I played Reader Rabbit and such. I think the first website I was on was Newgrounds
Dude are we like the same fucking person? That's all the shit I did to get into computers as a kid!
Still, I go to a k-12 school. It's not that bad, I have alot of friends from the high school and some that have moved on to college. I'll be going in a few weeks as well and it doesn't worry me. Really all I heard is it just gets better as you progress.
Oh and yes this creeped up on me early in public school, stay outta dodge.

Private school, only difference being that no one brings guns or knives to school. Which is nice.
Here it is btw
1) Do your homework. Classes are horrid if you haven't done it. Just do it, trust me. (Edit: Bonus points if you do it BEFORE you start playing games/browsing FP/etc when you get home.)
2) Be friendly. Don't let dickheads get you down. That's just how some kids are going to act. If you're generally friendly (but not too overbearing) you can break down some of the cliquey-ness that inherently comes with high school.
3) Don't be afraid to grow distant from some of your old buddies. Sometimes things just happen. You'll make a lot of new friends. I know as of now, none of my friends in grade school are people I regularly hang out with now, but on the other hand I know people who have been friends since kindergarden.
4) Get a good nights sleep. Some kids like to talk about how they were up to 3AM studying for a test or doing homework or something; don't buy it. They either fell asleep at 11 or they just think they're being trendy and 'toughening it out' and living a hard life or something. Try to sleep by 11PM or so. It makes the next day much easier to get through. (Sleeping in class is not as fun as it sounds.)
(For the record, gonna be a Sr. in high school starting next week.)
Edit: Also, I have to say, you post very respectably for being as young as you are, OP. Nice work. :clint:

Thanks.

Which one are you?
If I could get any good, sane advice for high school, I'd be ever grateful.
Do all your work, don't try and stand out like an idiot, and stay outta dodge.
I'm in college, and I feel the same way.
Just try looking at life as more than just "your childhood." It's a giant adventure with many different people, places, feelings, and circumstances. Highschool is just a new experience that you have the pleasure of receiving, so be thankful.
From what I've heard from Americans, the school system in the US is fucking easy.
Ohohoho killing innocent people is funny as fuck right guys
Yep.

I'll be honest, I saw some kid got his ass kicked in the parking lot, he was a transferred sophomore. (Aka new to the school)
Middle school sucked ass. High school was pretty good.
