There's a normal police force that puts you in the clink for having images of children being molested and for you personally molesting children. And there's an internet that will ridicule you if you try to argue that doing either of the aforementioned things is somehow completely moral. This is about how pedophiles are categorized. The only way someone can possibly be identified as a pedophile is if they do something illegal or if they tell everyone. And the only reason they'd tell everyone is they're either stupid or are trying to do what the OP did.

There's no reason to come "out of the closet" if all you're doing is alienating yourself for no reason whatsoever.
