I went to a place and asked for Cheese pizza and they gave me a pizza without tomato sauce or cheese on it, just bread.. Like a tortilla.
Let me guessed. You asked for it with no toppings, not a cheese pizza.
Let me guessed. You asked for it with no toppings, not a cheese pizza.
I asked for White Cheese Pizza. When I went to Italy I was expecting things to be sort of like Olive Garden, fucking delicious.. Instead I had eaten foods I was not used to before, and in fact my attitude generally decreased over there, I became sort of depressed or in a constantly-pissed-off mood just because of the food. I'm pretty sure I ate something one of the first days in Europe and it fucked me up because I wasn't used to it. The first thing I ate though was Pizza in London near the London Eye and it tasted pretty crappy too, to be honest. Generally the tomato sauce Italy has is completely different than what is in America.. It taste more.. Tomatoey.. My sickness caused me to end up eating at the Hard Rock Cafe in Rome, Venice, Paris, and London (Twice), because my body simply wouldn't accept the food. I had constant constipation and diarrhea and I threw up once.
There's your problem. Olive Garden isn't proper Italian.
I enjoyed Italy though, and in many of your pictures I have nearly identical pictures. Isle of Capri was my favorite. I'll upload a few in a sec. I'm transferring them from a disk, got 4.72 GB total. Good memories seeing your pictures.
olive garden is the Italian equivalent of taco bell, but fancier. It's good for what it is, but it's like presenting a hamburger and calling it a steak dinner.

DUDE! That's an awesome trip! I wish I could go there!

I'm trying to upload the rest. Each image is about 1-3 MB in JPEG Form... This is taking forever.
the great sea of invisible pictures
I went to Rome myself a while ago (May 10th 'till 15th) and I also have a lot of nearly identical pictures. Might upload some when I get home.
Did you meet Desmond there? Or any other assassins??
Roma Caput Mundi
These photos are amazing! I really hope I can go to Europe some day for a vacation.
Went to Rome on a Classical history trip in college. Beautiful country would love to go again. Shame they drive like lunatics. Also its very much worth going to Pompeii.
Amazing pictures, really. I'd love to go to Rome and see the Vatican. The artwork is just amazing... Thanks for sharing them
I can't see any of the pictures. Is it just me? :frown:
"This account's public links are generating too much traffic and have been temporarily disabled!"
Really? Damn. [editline]18th June 2011[/editline] I should transfer them all to some other host. [editline]18th June 2011[/editline] I just don't know which.

Maybe you can answer this, what do they do at the Pantheon when it rains? Do they just put a tarp over the oculus or let the rain come in or something?
Maybe you can answer this, what do they do at the Pantheon when it rains? Do they just put a tarp over the oculus or let the rain come in or something?
That's a really good question, because I thought they were having serious issues with acid rain, as well.
Acid rain? Marble floor? oh god no
The Colosseum, nice. Did they let you climb on it like you can on Assassins Creed Brotherhood?

Not really my thing. Pantheon: There are holes in the floor so the water drains out. 36 or so, if I remember correctly.
I bet they've made you pay a shitload more than they would make actual Italians pay.
God, every meal I've had when I was in Italy was fucking delicious. In Rome I had a pizza so spicy my eyes and nose began to run, drinking anything did not help. At all. It burned like hell but goddamn it was delicious. Their wines are usually great as well. [editline]19th June 2011[/editline] Oh great now I want to go back..

Nice pictures, I would love to visit! I heard small penises were the fashion back then.
