It's the truth. I had a slice from a shop, it was super nasty. Though that was only one shop, the rest were fine. And almost every picture you have, I have a copy too. Haha. And those damn Colosseum 'fighters' are still there. The same ones...
I must've picked good places. All of the pizza I had was great.
i went there and the place's full of secret agents and assassins.
i loved italy so much when i lived there! i lived there between 04-06 because my dad was in the army, and it was great! The food is ten times better than anything in the U.S.

Is it just me or is that Mr. Bean on the right? Anyways fantastic photos seems like a fun experience. Always wanted to go to Rome and this sort of gave me a taste of what it's like.
Yeah, that's Mr. Bean.
It made me stop and double-take, then take a picture.
And have you seen those guys selling stuff and running from the police all the time at popular touristic spots? I've seen black guys selling paintings, evading and getting caught by the police the whole day then. It was pretty fascinating to look at.
Every day I went out.
it must've took forever to upload these.
"Wait till Biggus Dickus hears of this!". Sorry, couldn't resist.
Nice pictures, Seiteki. Maybe you could pop a visit to Sicily and take pics of Etna, I think theres a few active flows.
I must've picked good places. All of the pizza I had was great.
It was only one place, it was in Venice though. I think because it was late at night and had been sitting out on the warmer for a while.
I just got back from a 20 day vacation in this area. I saw the huge ball thing you took pictures of on top of the vatican and I'm wondering why it was there. Also in spite of the fact they said no photographs in the Sistine Chapel, i took them anyway. Also, did you know in the arch in the OP a lot of the art work in it was stolen by the guy who built it from other monuments? That's what my tour guide said

also if you ever visit turkey don't buy any of the rugs there. they take you to big stock houses designed to look like mills, and they have wooden mills everywhere and thousands of rugs inside the building, and they claim that they are hand made in that facility, but they are made in china. also they aren't worth the 8000 euros that they cost
Dammit, disregard that rating, my iPod decided to rate you.
All in all, I loved Italy. The people were incredibly nice, the food was excellent, and the history was amazing.
I would recommend it to anyone who wants a great experience abroad.
Those are some really cool pictures but it feels weird looking at most of Rome through them instead of my own eyes. My family was more focused on the restaurants and such, most of the sightseeing was done on one trip on one of the tour buses. :smith:
I didn't even get to buy any souvenirs, not even a magnet/keychain.
Oh pretty pictures!
These are some really awesome pictures. Reminds me a lot of Assassin's creed brotherhood. Haha :)

that's probably because AC:B is set in rome
nice pics
Glad you had a good time. It takes a certain kind of person to appreciate Rome. I used to live there and I miss it oh so much.
I was visiting in the Rome at the exact same time. Unfortunately I had a bad experience there but the sight seeing was incredible. Especially St Peters Basilica. I preferred Florence though.
Did you run into the mob?
Argh! I was there in February. I miss Rome and The Vatican so bad. I scratched my name into the Colloseum Lol. (There were tons of other, everyone was doing it so according to the law of being a teenager I just had to aswell) I was REALLY creeped out at the body of the pope they had in the glass casket within the vatican though. There is no way I was the only one who was creeped out about that.

I've never been to Italy or ever looked at any photographs but I recognize this, where is this fro- oh yea now I remember, AC:B... You have to climb down this structure to assassinate 1 guy. It's the Parthenon! Thank you video games for being accurate!
Feeling like I should make some sort of witty comment... 'When in rome...'
Anyways, half the pictures I saw were men. Naked men. Naked men's genitals.
CANNOT UNSEE.
I was in rome for a couple of days when i was young. Everything smelled like piss.
I just went there too, a bird took a shit on me.
Maybe you can answer this, what do they do at the Pantheon when it rains? Do they just put a tarp over the oculus or let the rain come in or something?
Actually it just rains inside, as it has for two thousand years.
I'm Italian, I know what I'm talking about.
And to that guy hating Italian food, if you prefer eating shit, here have some of mine, tastes really good. Fresh out of the ass!
On a serious note, real pizza must be thin, have a crunchy crust and be somewhat softer inside. It has tomate sauce made with fresh tomatoes, and uses mozzarella as cheese, unless you ask otherwise.
If you are used to PizzaHut, where the pizza is like 10 times higher, greasier, made with chemical tomato sauce and crap cheese, you may not like the original.
Another thing that's really good in Italy are all the risottos, and all the fish dishes.
Rome was awesome i just recently went. Very fun experience although i did go for longer, but really other than st peters basilica you didn't miss much just a fuckton of churches. Did you know all the sculptures in the Vatican museum are apparently copies of popular Greek sculptures.
It's the Parthenon!
Parthenon is in Greece, bro
