17
Holy fuck, I thought you were at least 20 already, Jesus Christ.
He brings it up it nearly every thread. What we are discussing right now has nothing to do with his profession, and no one denied such a non-controversial topic in such a arrogant insulting way.
I am a LAWYER. My profession is LAW. The word LAW is in the fucking title. When someone is fucking wrong about LAWS, which you all quite often are, I correct you.
What we are discussing right now has nothing to do with his profession,
A thread about law is not related to a lawyer's profession?
I am a LAWYER. My profession is LAW. The word LAW is in the fucking title.
Bro grabs
17
I'm honestly surprised. I'm the same age.
I am a LAWYER. My profession is LAW. The word LAW is in the fucking title.
It's also quite worrying that I never noticed this.
I am a LAWYER. My profession is LAW. The word LAW is in the fucking title.
I'm not talking about only this thread, I've seen you bring it up in topics completely unrelated.
What we are discussing right now has nothing to do with his profession,
:cawg:
I'm not talking about only this thread,
Yes you were. That's precisely what you were talking about.
I'm not talking about only this thread, I've seen you bring it up in topics completely unrelated.
Such as?
:cawg: EDIT: :ninja: x2 (list)
Exactly. If human life is always more important than freedom, you can justify banning ANYTHING. Drawing arbitrary lines just invalidates the argument.
I'd argue that life and freedom are equal. To live a proper life, you need freedom, but what use is freedom to the dead? I am in favour of legalising some recreational drugs, and I'm not particulary comfortable with many forms of privacy invasion. On the other hand, dying in a car crash because you didn't wear a seatbelt or because you took hard drugs is both a waste of your life, and the freedom granted to you.
I'm not talking about only this thread, I've seen you bring it up in topics completely unrelated.
I think you're mistaken. He has only brought it up when it is necessary. Give an example though, please, I guess we can give you a chance to not look like a complete idiot. [editline]12:33AM[/editline]
:cawg: EDIT: :ninja: x2 (list)
Thank you
Yes you were. That's precisely what you were talking about.
I wasn't, read my post again. I was calling him elitest, then giving example of it to prove it. I didn't say only in this thread, I didn't even mention the thread.
I'm not talking about only this thread, I've seen you bring it up in topics completely unrelated.
The only time I ever bring it up is in discussions about legal topics, such as new bills. And I NEVER comment as a lawyer on foreign politics or law. I am very open in saying I don't know fuck about foreign law. Maybe you think I bring it up too much because the vast majority of my posts have been in news threads or political discussions.
I wasn't, read my post again. I was calling him elitest, then giving example of it to prove it. I didn't say only in this thread, I didn't even mention the thread.

What we are discussing right now has nothing to do with his profession,
You don't need to use the word "thread" explicitly for it to be what you're talking about.
Freedom is more important than human life. I'm tired of people thinking they have a right to be protected from everything, or to even be protected from being offended. Freedom is the most important thing we have.
.
I guess you're right on that, but he has also brought it up in a previous argument with me. What we were just talking about though, did not relate to him being a lawyer. We were just talking about freedoms in comparison to the value of human life. He started out saying "What do you do for a living" randomly to me, then when I said I didn't he said something about him being a lawyer and working for a living like it held some water in a completely unrelated discussion.
Freedom is more important than human life. I'm tired of people thinking they have a right to be protected from everything, or to even be protected from being offended. Freedom is the most important thing we have.
A corpse has the freedom to do nothing.
Freedom is more important than human life. I'm tired of people thinking they have a right to be protected from everything, or to even be protected from being offended. Freedom is the most important thing we have.
Individual safety is the responsibility of the individual.
Freedom is more important than human life. I'm tired of people thinking they have a right to be protected from everything, or to even be protected from being offended. Freedom is the most important thing we have.
Killing people should be a freedom. Why can't I steal from my neighbors?
Freedom is more important than human life. I'm tired of people thinking they have a right to be protected from everything, or to even be protected from being offended. Freedom is the most important thing we have.
Without freedom life isn't worth living. Really, it isn't. Life is a gamble, and what fun is gambling when you know you're always going to win?
A corpse has the freedom to do nothing.
And a completely safe man cannot live.
Killing people should be a freedom. Why can't I steal from my neighbors?
:frogdowns:
Killing people should be a freedom. Why can't I steal from my neighbors?
Read the thread. We've been through that.
Killing people should be a freedom. Why can't I steal from my neighbors?
Because your neighbors have the right to life and property just like you do.
Killing people should be a freedom. Why can't I steal from my neighbors?
you, my friend, are fucked. EDIT: late
Killing people should be a freedom. Why can't I steal from my neighbors?
Jesus, this argument is going to be crushed like the 10th time this week.
you, my friend, are fucked.
Ahahahaha
Killing people should be a freedom. Why can't I steal from my neighbors?
Because then you're infringing on the freedoms of the persons whom life you've taken.
And a completely safe man cannot live.
Hence why either extreme cannot be strived for by itself. Freedom is as important as the life needed to enjoy it.
