well, thats because they'll illegal. it leads to crime because if somebody rips off/cheats/steals from somebody they use violence rather than taking them to court. you cant take somebody to court with somebody who stole drug money from you.
what?
You can't have both. Half freedom isn't freedom, half life* isn't life.
*HURRRRRRRRR
I loled so hard
Pansy. I'm doing homework at the same time.
I feel bad knowing that you have much harder homework than I do.
Also that didn't last long. Fucking internet,
Drug abuse breeds crime which breeds violence and infringement on others freedom to life. Just because it's indirect does not mean it should be allowed.
Jesus, you're trying to miss the point. Drug abuse doesn't lead to crime. Jesus. Christ. DRUGS BEING ILLEGAL LEAD TO CRIME.
I think it's getting to that point of the thread where anyone with a new argument has been silenced and the new comers are just reading the first 2 pages or the last 2 pages and replying to posts on them.
Jesus, you're trying to miss the point. Drug abuse doesn't lead to crime. Jesus. Christ. DRUGS BEING ILLEGAL LEAD TO CRIME.
Actually both leads to crime. People who are so addicted to a drug and need money will do anything to get more.

And alcohol bred to crime during the Prohibition. Al Capone rose to power on moonshine and speakeasies.
If drugs/prostitution/whatever were legalized, the criminal industry would die.

I'm sorry I made you feel bad :(

quick, make a post with which sums up the thread

Don't steal my thunder you asshole

Yeah, likes he's going to actually make that connection.
I'm not talking about only this thread, I've seen you bring it up in topics completely unrelated.
Ad hominem feels good ?
But you would wear the seatbelt anyway
That law does not buckle the seatbelt for you. You would wear the seatbelt regardless of a law.
Jesus Christ how do you people not get that?
Is a person more likely to wear a seatbelt if the chances of them recieving a negative experience from not doing so is increased? Yes. Laws making people wear seatbelts will make more people wear seat belts. Even if it's a small number, it's still a increase in the number of people not dying.
quick, make a post with which sums up the thread
Lankist and Johnny Mo wins
Actually both leads to crime. People who are so addicted to a drug and need money will do anything to get more.
And if the government were keeping tabs on drug use like they are alcohol use that sort of crime would drop dramatically.
Lankist and Johnny Mo wins
We're like Liu Kang and Johnny Cage
im johnny cage because im the pretty one
I really should stick to arguing with Muslims over email.

A negative outcome isn't being flung through the windshield? You have an odd way of looking at things.

Well, being asian will help me with my math homework

What?
No, people are going to wear a seatbelt because they don't want to die. That's the biggest and best consequence. They aren't going to wear it because they are going to get a ticket.
That's like not jumping off a building because you're worried you're going to die, but because you might damage a guys Porsche parked on the street below because you might get fined for the damages.

What?
Ad hominem feels good ?
I actually specifically said to respond to my post that has content. I didn't use "you are elitest therefore I win the argument" so it isn't an ad hominem.
And if the government were keeping tabs on drug use like they are alcohol use that sort of crime would drop dramatically.
It would drop, but it would still be a major problem. When you get a drug that creates extreme physical and mental addiction you can't control what a underprivileged person will do to get it.
If a person values money over their life that's their problem, not the world's.

Have you ever used drugs or been underprivileged?
That's like not jumping off a building because you're worried you're going to die, but because you might damage a guys Porsche parked on the street below because you might get fined for the damages.
Except that jumping off a building kills you most of the time and driving without a seat belt doesn't kill you most of the time.
And if the government were keeping tabs on drug use like they are alcohol use that sort of crime would drop dramatically.
Do you have any idea on how much money gets wasted on the war on drugs? The war on drugs has failed since Nixon declared it and it will always fail.
The government can not and will never be able to track all drugs.
A negative outcome isn't being flung through the windshield? You have an odd way of looking at things.
I said increased. You already have the risk of death or serious injury. The added chance of a fine or jail increases the chance that something bad will happen to you because you don't wear a seatbelt, thus dissuading more people.

Uhh, is alcohol illegal?
I'm talking about licensing and selling drugs legally. It's pretty easy to regulate something when people will pay you to.
Well, being asian will help me with my math homework
Urgh Math...
Man, if you were British, you would be retching at that word.
Urgh Math...

And telling me to call it maths
I don't retch when people say "maths".
EDIT: every time
