"The diplomatic car that ran over 20 people in Cairo" (Warning, disturbing)

Fuck if he wanted to get out even if there was no clear way he should have just gassed it at a cool 3-5 miles an hour. It'd give people the time and message to get the fuck out of the way while being relatively safe. Why the fuck would you try to go 0-60 through a crowd I'll never know.
There is warning on youtube site if you watch it.
Just my personal opinion: I didn't feel a single negative emotion when he did it. Your fault for running on the streets, screaming and breaking stuff. If you can't live like a normal fucking person you deserve that. I want my country to be peaceful and awesome and full of love so I will go out and fuck shit up :downs:

Dear god do you watch the news or read the GD at all? Seriously? They're doing this because the government denied their ability to peacefully protest.
MMMonster kill...Godlike...Holy shit.

Why the world would you want to protest at all? Don't focus on what you don't want - focus on what you do want.
Seems the police are starting to resort to serious fuckery. Well, not like they weren't already, but this is ridiculous. This was posted in the "I love baton" thread.
"I'm walking on an active road and screaming something - what can possible happen to me?"
Be a good citizen, stay home, problem solved.
So a angry and violent mob surrounds my car, i will most certainly get pulled out and beaten. I get bombarded by rocks and might get hit by a molotov i need to act fast.
What do i do?
1. Fucking floor it.
2. Get beaten/killed.
Well not really but i hope someone sees the logic i try to forward.
I do
Option 3: I just keep driving in my armored CVPI and flip off everyone as I go. I'm prepared for Z-Day.
$12,000 of armor is better than being eaten alive (in Z-Day Scenario) or shot in this scenario (rioting). And I feel my city will riot soon. In maybe the next 5-10 years.

PLEASE read the fucking "I love baton." thread before you pull more shit out of your ass.

"I'm driving on an active road, and I see a ton of people standing there screaming - oh well, it's an active road, I might as well keep on going even though I'll obviously kill people."

Please leave the forums. You're clearly not old/smart enough to be on them.
Okay, in that case they have 2 options
1:) Starve to death due to food prices rising
2:) Peaceful protest to request a change in government
3:) Violent protests to demand a change in government.
Option 1 is a non-option
Option 2 was denied by the government
Option 3 is all that's left.
They want control over their country; they want a democracy. They want to kick out a corrupt dictator who has been at the helm of their country for 30 years. If you can't realise that this is why they're protesting then god help you.
Option 4: Get a job with higher pay. But yeah, you're right - if only thing you can do is fuck shit up, you can't find a better job and better do what you can do best.
You guys act like you know something about these countries and life in them. Here in Ukraine 1000$ a month is considered a super awesome salary when most people in the middle class get 200-300$ and lover classes get 100-200$. Unlike you see in the movies where you can have a time of your life for 5$ here, you can't. We have same prices as in US for example. Coce costs 1.5$, PS3 videogame costs even more than it costs for you - 60-70$, no body buys new cars unless they have loads of money because they too, cost a lot more than in Italy or Germany - you go there, buy a car and drive it back to Ukraine - it's cheaper. Police is fucking useless, ambulances arrive after 30 minutes etc. Buy wait, I don't see any protesters. I go to my 350$ job, learning new stuff in the meantime because I was already promised a raise this year (You know, because I do my job good and not riot on the streets). I am able to pay for my 5 room apartment, I am able to pay for repairs for the apartment every couple of years so it looks nice. I have food, I have great clothing, I have a decent PC, I had almost every gaming console. Sure I can't buy all this stuff I want right away, Might need to save a month or three to buy something like new awesome guitar etc. But look: I'm not hungry, have a good place to live, have a steady income and entertained - what's not to like?

Ok think that through again, but this time don't be a fucking idiot:
Angry and violent mob surrounds my car, I will most certainly get pulled out and beaten. I get bombarded by rocks and might get hit by a molotov. Wow, I must be a fucking asshole to deserve this!
Seriously, you'll never have an angry mob trying to kill you for no good reason. You're obviously fucking a lot of people over if you get to that point.
You guys act like you know something about these countries and life in them.
And you don't?
I think I'd be too scared to care I was hitting people if they were fucking surrounding my car and about to beat me to a pulp
Option 4: Get a job with higher pay. But yeah, you're right - if only thing you can do is fuck shit up, you can't find a better job and better do what you can do best.
Corrupt government and insane food prices
"get a better job"

Why the fuck are you comparing Ukraine with Egypt? They're totally different economically-wise. Ukraine doesn't have a shitty economy and a goddamn oppressive and corrupt regime which denies the population it's right to food.
Also are you retarded or something? Your posts here are the most stupid shit I've seen in some time
Wasn't me.
"i disagree with these protesters, I'm gonna teach them all a lesson by running over some!"
what a moron, he made things worse
More like "I can't believe I'm getting paid by the government to do this."
If the driver is identified, he should be sentenced with murder.
I'm not really sure about how the legal system works in egypt but(at least from my experiences) I'm pretty sure most they could pin on the guy even if they catch him would be manslaughter and hit and run, "murder" would be a lot harder. Also, this guy has played too much Zombie Driver :V

If by some chance he was simply trying to escape the mob and it got out of hand, then I agree. But if this is one of the pro-government activists that people have been speculating about, then I think murder would be appropriate.
thats god awful.
"Hurr I got a car, i'ma run shit over"
The Egyptians show move onto slashing government tires.
some retards in this thread
WHY DIDNT HE GO STRAIGHT THROUGH THE ROAD
because he wanted to run them over
[editline]4th February 2011[/editline]
not justifying it but his intent is pretty clear

Three cheers for state-sanctioned murder and destruction.

The crowd certainly didn't seem to be intent on pulling anyone out of their vehicles, Reginald Denny-style.
Coming back to the facts, though - I don't know any of us who were there, and people can behave irrationally in even the most benign of circumstances. The root cause of the unrest is government, with its mismanagement of resources, defiance of the populace and subsequent oppression.
They have released a picture of the driver:

Some people are just completely de-humanized. They don't give a damn what happens to the people they run over just because they don't believe in the same ideas.
This is exactly why American citizens have guns. If the police aren't in the area and there is some kind of maniac with a deadly weapon, someone needs to bring them down.
Option 4: Get a job with higher pay.
Oh fantastic, you've really opened my eyes
We can solve the worlds hunger if everyone just gets better jobs
I see nothing wrong with this at all.
No siree this is the ticket.
Somewhat more on topic however, it would be nice to know how many suvived, but regardless it's still a horrible thing to witness
