Saw:The Resurrection of the Vengeance of the Apocalypse of Doom 5
I watched this drunk and it still looked fake as shit. I think the effects crews were just bored.
What was the best trap in this one?
This entire series is garbage and not a single one was actually scary.

The Return Of The Son Of The Saw
This is what happens when you create an unexpected hit that demands sequels.
Movies that are designed from the beginning to be part of an installment are usually fine overall, while it's pretty obvious by the third movie that Saw was never originally intended to have a sequel.

Another fine example of this (or just plain overall incompetence) are the Star Wars prequels!
Saw: The Final Chapter: The Epilogue: Part IV
Coming soon to theatres near you!
I stopped after 5.
Cant wait for "Saw the prologue/Saw 0"
I loved the first one, had a good cast, well told story and was generally a good idea with a twist that worked. Then I watched the second one, all the mystery of it was lost and it just turned into a generic 'horror' film (maybe more thriller, not sure) that attempts to repeat the first with a twist and traps but they miss out what really made the first good. Then comes the third, which is EXACTLY THE SAME THING AGAIN. After that I stopped watching.

Probably the first trap. It'd be too hard to explain. Just look up the opening sequence.
The rest were incredibly boring. I don't think anybody actually put effort into this movie. It was horribly done.

This really bugged me. Everything felt low quality. The plot was weak (even for a Saw film), the script was laughable, the acting was over-the-top (seemingly purposefully so), the traps were boring and lacking imagination, and the "twist"... well, let's just say that Saw hasn't had a good twist since the second film.
And don't even get me started on the 3D... I can't believe I paid an extra 4 fucking dollars for that garbage. In fact, I can't believe I paid to see the movie at all.

Rated dumb, since none of the movies were meant to be scary
I saw two of the Saw movies, and like someone said, it's basically torture porn.
When you watch porn, you don't watch it for a plot. You watch it for sex.
I watched those two Saw movies for gore and torturous scenes.

I just necro-bumped a thread without thinking.
Ignore this moron...

10 month bump :v:
I thought the first movie was something new and pretty good. The only thing I liked about the second one was they did manage to surprise a bit at the end. The third was my last because all I saw was just nasty traps with weak story.
The first saw was great, I really mean it.
Then they started experimenting with the concept of the mythomaniac enigmist and it all went downhill.
the II and III were watchable, I even enjoyed them since the first movie really impressed me.
IV, V were bad. I hated the new enigmist so bad.
VI was shit.
(VII) 3D was a ripoff.
