pretty cool
well unless they take a long time to choose a t-shirt, which they kinda did on my first one, this one is also doomed.. which means: spreadshirt soon
Spreadshirt seems kind of gross and amateur I prefer sites that just give you a template file with the correct indexing and format so you can work on it in peace. That looks like it's used for shitty promo shirts and stuff like that Anyway, I designed a couple ages ago. Pretty terrible from a design perspective though, never marketed or sold any.
yeah I know. I'd rather have a more well designed place or something but I've tried a lot of websites and this one is the best one as it outstands others on Printing space - the only website I saw that had a similar printing space was mysoti, but they had a pretty hard template to work with Money value - again, mysoti is also ok on this one, though I heard that redbubble wasn't that good Shipping time - here's where mysoti loses as the last time I used it, they didn't get any shirts shipped and when the volcano erupted in island, it got from bad to worst. So I don't know, if you got any other place thats not spreadshirt, mysoti, redbubble, zazzle, or cafepress, post it Also, I have my first shirt up in my new store http://blackite.spreadshirt.com/ still have to change a few things but if you want to buy it there it is :) and if you want american apparel or some other model ou can change it yourself
I've never tried it, but see if bigcartel seems like the kind if thing you want. Oh, no, big cartel is just a shopping cart I think. Nevermind.
yep, and they don't have many slots unless you pay :S so yeah its rather bad to make some money of shirts haha
Fucking mysoti man, I'm still waiting for a shirt I ordered last october I know their whole production got fucked over, but seriously, they're still taking orders currently. HOW CAN YOU TAKE ORDERS CURRENTLY WITH OVER A YEAR'S BACKLOG OF UNDELIVERED, PAID-FOR PRODUCTS Ffffffgf
yeah, I had 3 people buy shirts when I was in Mysoti. None of them got it, so I just told them to send them an email to get their money back. And this was in September last year or so. One of them actually ordered around May, before the whole volcano thing, and when I asked them about the shirt in September they said that they didnt have any records of anyone buying any shirt around that time, which is pretty fucked up since I actually received my comission also, I uploaded the rest of the shirt types on my store, still 1 design though, since theres not enough space for the other one http://blackite.spreadshirt.com/shop/designs
I made some streetwear type shirt designs (sry about compression) [editline]25th September 2011[/editline] Probably gonna go in and manually sharpen the stroke on the stars on the second one. Looks too strokey.

So, I'm really digging the snapping turtle design! Keep up the great work! My boyfriend actually is a starting t-shirt designer, check out his facebook page, http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/The-Official-YesMaster/144120142344445 . He's also working with a clothing corner store here called GreenBananas, they do some interesting stuff.
it would sure be cool if I could get my designs in some store. Can you tell a bit more about your boyfriends business with the store? Or leave a contact or something :)
yeah sure d3d3d3, here's their main page http://greenbananasclothing.com/ they're currently doing a Cosign type deal with him cause we live in the area, but they may just sign you on as a guest artist, possibly as a full-time artist depending on what their situation is. Shoot him an e-mail, you never know what might come of it! best of luck!

ugh Ok i'm done with my shirt, check it out http://cargocollective.com/blackite#2091366/Icy-Koopa
Come to think of it it now reminds me of a mix of Xam'd turning to stone and some space album cover which for reasons unknown reminds me of Pink Floyd. But good work it looks nice, I still dislike the squiggly line though, but hey it's your work.

omg the old t-shirt template from Threadless, I used that for months
omg the old t-shirt template from Threadless, I used that for months
Got it from our teacher. This weekend we're supposed to think of an idea for a t-shirt and compete. The winner will be chosen by our class and the class above through voting. I'll think of more ideas. But I'll probably end up on this one (my teacher laughed at so I'll take that as an OK signal). I don't think it'll get to the printing process though, should I even win, because, well, you know. But I'd wear it if it would.
lol I can help you if you want. I got some good templates too
Help me with what exactly? Templates are always a welcome sight.
With designing the tshirt I dunno. What you got there is something basic, I think you can kick it up a notch and here's the shirt designs. they're for photoshop though http://filesmelt.com/dl/shirt.psd http://filesmelt.com/dl/model-t-shirt-template.psd on the first one, you have to put the pic between the 2 layers, and you change the shirt color by doubleclicking the color overlay and changing there
With designing the tshirt I dunno. What you got there is something basic, I think you can kick it up a notch
It's a parody on "I Love New York" shirts. It's supposed to be simple, the point here is to be offensively funny "I Nuke Japan". Also what do you mean with kicking it up a notch? Our limit is 5 solid colours if you're thinking about making it detailed. I like them simple, a simple and entertaining illustration or some good text.

A simple and entertaining illustration or some good text.
5 colors is a lot lol but then if you're already taking colors into consideration wouldn't someone print it in the end? And I don't know, I don't really like the font. But try it in a template later on, because it gives off a totally different impression

The winner gets it printed and possibly get a few will be printed and sold in their shop as well. What I'm saying is that I'm not sure if they would want to print it because of the message. :v: Well I really like that font (not saying it couldn't be better, by far) and I have to use commercially useable ones. It's a brush kind of font because of the classical Japanese way of writing with brushes. But yeah I'm not fully finished with it, after all it's just a minute work more or less. But since there is little to it it's not like it'll be very different.
