Yo.

I could be wrong but it looks a lot like Dragon God from Demon's Souls.

Never mind they are slightly different...
I'm so fucking hype you wouldn't even believe.
I can't wait to cry some more!
was that a mummy in a fur cape
But the graphics look terrible
I personally think the graphics look great but either way what the game lacks in graphical fidelity it makes up in art design.
Someone call an ambulance, the boner I just popped is outstanding.

I want to be hyped for a boss like that, but I'm worried he's going to be somewhat similar to Dragon God and the dreaded Bed of Chaos.
Well im sold, Pre-ordered the PC Collectors edition.

I don't think you did what you think you did
Personally I was disappointed with the first Dark Souls, the game became way too tedious and stopped being fun, even in a masochistic way.
Soooo getting this.
I haven't had a challenging game like dark souls in such a long time.
Everything else seems so casual.
For example, I went through Witcher 2 on dark mode without breaking a sweat.
i beat dark souls with my eyes closed And without using my hands
casual game....

Only the smoothest.
I've yet to preorder Dark Souls II. Is there even a PC preorder in the US yet? (that isn't digital please.)
I'm pretty excited.
To me Dark Souls is kind of like what Diablo would be like if it became a 3D action game, at least in tone/atmosphere/etc
And the visuals look fine. Watch actual gameplay footage, it looks MUCH better than Dark Souls 1 mostly thanks to better lighting. It still looks "last gen" in the sense that textures and stuff aren't super high res for the enviornments, but Souls series have always made up for that in its environmental design.
I.E. look at Anor Londo from dark souls 1:

Sure the textures aren't uber resolution and the model complexity for the stairs is pretty basic, but the overall visuals still look pretty damn good. And that screenshot above is a screencap from the game running at 720p, looks even better at full 1080p on the PC.
Im glad they actually keep PC in mind when developing this game. Dark Souls was literally unplayable on PC
EDIT:
If you need console hardware and mods in order to play the game it's not a proper port no matter what you want to belive.
I just hope there isn't another Anorlando or Blighttown in the game.
I just hope there isn't another Anorlando or Blighttown in the game.
there was a blighttown in demon's souls so there's probably one in here as well
personally im hoping for another anor londo
This is seriously a bed of amazing models, I just hope someone can get this stuff into GMod like the others.
Also Pre-Ordered PC.

as long as I can get more than 15fps in blighttown, they can make the entire game just one big blighttown map for all I care.

not if you used a controller and the resolution fix.

It was low resolution, had a locked framerate, and twitchy mouse controls. Can people please stop acting like Dark Souls had the worst PC port ever? It was pretty bad, yes, but it's also easily fixed.

also no button prompt tutorial
I kind of want to play Dark Souls II, but it'd chew me up and spit me out, I just know it
Yeah, I'm with the camp that says these graphics look... REALLY dated.
Not bad, per se, just seriously low-res looking. Skyrim was two years ago, and its shaders and textures are holding this game's visuals down and beating their asses.
Maybe that's not fair, given just how amazing Skyrim looked on release, but seriously: when I look at your stone wall and pillar and it feels like it belongs in World of Warcraft... then your shaders need some work.
I made this (terribly) for just such an occasion
