I was skateboarding down the road a while ago(being the fag that I am) when suddenly I felt really trippy, like I was playing a really immersive and in-depth video game and I was the main character. Ever since, I can't shake the feeling that nothing around me is real, not even myself. Sometimes, my dreams and recent memories blend into one another (with curious results, once I asked my friend if he had a pet lizard in his wardrobe,)
It seems as if life has little tepth and my actions have no serious consequence, I can peform a minor misdeed and have my mother shout at me without batting an eyelid. And no, I don't cut myself. Reality may be wearing thin but pain is BAD, man.
There are several upsides to this though, books and being a scalie scumbag are much more immersive, hur hur.
[tab]It's trippy stuff, man[/tab]
Are you caught in a landslide- no escape from reality?

He should try opening his eyes, looking up to the skies, and seeing.
sounds like the first stages of a dissociative disorder
Life should seem surreal at some points in life. In my opinion, it is your mind trying to put your life into perspective by blurring your waking and dreaming life. However, essentially all of our lives are "video games" wherein we are the main character. Your experience doesn't seem that odd to me, and I am sure you are not the only or first to experience such a disconcerting notion of social isolation. Your feeling of meaningless and little impact on the world can originate from low self esteem brought upon by a teen angst and self-questioning. TLDR You are a teenager, everyone feels this when they are discovering themselves in life.

Strange, cause I've been feeling quite good about myself recently.

He is, after all, just a poor boy who needs no sympathy.
I'm just a poor boy from a poor family.
Spare me my life from this monstrosity!

Life isn't a dream but it's hard to tell.

Precisely my point.

Thank you benji.
Your words are like bullets OP. Bullets that make life... Like reverse bullets you know what I mean man? No you don't fucking hippie
Try lucid dreaming. It will make you even more unsure of whether or not you are in a dream.
I still maintain the theory that we are all part of some MMORPG played by a hyper-intelligent alien race.

I'm calling right away!
That's what happens when you drink a bottle of nyquil hahaha
Everyone gets this sometimes, I think.

Or maybe you're chronically depressed. There's a fine line.
I get days like this sometimes. Only happens when I think of certain things. Forexample if I begin thinking "I am no human. Human is simply a word created for a brain in a body. I am a brain". Then I usually began to feel different. It's actually quite nice.
How can skateboarding be gay?
Problem Sleuth is trippy stuff, read a couple hundred pages and you will feel like you are on acid.
Anyway, I've gotten the same feeling. Usually relates to me not sleeping enough.
Same with me when I was riding my bike, I felt like I was in a video game.
Just thinking about my own conscience and self-awareness blows my mind.
I had this problem a while ago, last year, actually. For a while I just couldn't shake the feeling that shit wasn't real. It went away after a while. Sometimes you just think to deep into shit, I think that's what happened to me. Find a way to convince yourself you're not living a dream.
Same here, but what's wrong with that? To be honest who cares? Just keep it up, haven't got much else to do so enjoy it. It's a laugh
Go to sleep, you're just tired.

Mildly amusing :v:
But seriously, I'm not depressed in the least. I feel as happy as anyone but it sll seems a bit distant...
