http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Depersonalization_disorder Sound familiar?
Well, I've no idea why I feel like this, cause I don't have any of those symptoms.
Mildly amusing :v: But seriously, I'm not depressed in the least. I feel as happy as anyone but it sll seems a bit distant...
That's what you think. We're all better off without you, just imagine us all holding hands and walking towards the sunshine, by the way, you aren't with us. You just died, somewhere, somehow, in a ditch. Yeah. YOUR GAY BOWS DO NOT SCARE ME! ALLAH AKBAR!
just imagine us all holding hands and walking towards the sunshine
oh god the homosexuality
something weird like this happened to me at school. I was walking past this teacher with a microphone. i could hear her say things, and then hear a repeat a second after. i then felt like i was outside my body. went away after a while
A Shrink, you need. Disturbing, this is.
Life is real because it is.
Shit man, that post up there saying we're all just brains made me think. It's weird thinking that your body is just a vessel to hold your brain and do tasks that your brain couldn't normally do by itself.
It's ok, it's just your ping.
Less caffiene, better diet, regular sleep pattern. try vitamins. Worked for me. I was walking through the woods once and I was all like... shit... staring at the trees for ages and just picking up branches and stuff to feel what they were like. Twas trippy
He's 13? This is it, you're dropping your balls. That's why you think life seems surreal.
I hate that feeling, it's I'm being controlled by some one else, and I can't shake the feeling off for a while.
I hate that feeling, it's I'm being controlled by some one else, and I can't shake the feeling off for a while.
You need a televangelist.
I've had feelings like this, too. Scarily enough, it was while I was playing Postal 2 :ohdear:
I still maintain the theory that we are all part of some MMORPG played by a hyper-intelligent alien race.
well fuck my alien needs to stop being so goddamn lazy and go farm some gold
Mental Note: Stay away from shovels, cats, dogs, police batons, Anthrax-filled cow heads, pistols, stun guns, gas cans, machetes, people saying "One Side!", banks, game developing companies, protesters, hill billies, cemeteries, malls, celebrities, rocket launchers, M16s, napalm launchers, and shops owned by Middle-Eastern people.
Was there any matrix-related joke yet?
I don't think so
I get this way when I go too long without sleeping.
You'll phase out once you get hit with a brick.
For me it feels like everyday is the same day.. Same things happening..
I was skateboarding down the road a while ago(being the fag that I am) when suddenly I felt really trippy, like I was playing a really immersive and in-depth video game and I was the main character. Ever since, I can't shake the feeling that nothing around me is real, not even myself. Sometimes, my dreams and recent memories blend into one another (with curious results, once I asked my friend if he had a pet lizard in his wardrobe,) It seems as if life has little tepth and my actions have no serious consequence, I can peform a minor misdeed and have my mother shout at me without batting an eyelid. And no, I don't cut myself. Reality may be wearing thin but pain is BAD, man. There are several upsides to this though, books and being a scalie scumbag are much more immersive, hur hur. [tab]It's trippy stuff, man[/tab]
You're losing your grip on reality. Get outside more.
I feel this way after taking a nap.
Stop smoking pot.

It could be a brain tumour hindering your perceptions every now and then, you should probably go to the doctor unless you live in a shitty country that doesn't deduct health care from everyone's taxes.
This is what I feel like after taking magic shrooms, I tripped while out in the dark at night (With a friend) and I panicked a bit when we went into a nearly pitch black area and eventually I got over it but like I said I still ponder about my existence.
Life should seem surreal at some points in life. In my opinion, it is your mind trying to put your life into perspective by blurring your waking and dreaming life. However, essentially all of our lives are "video games" wherein we are the main character. Your experience doesn't seem that odd to me, and I am sure you are not the only or first to experience such a disconcerting notion of social isolation. Your feeling of meaningless and little impact on the world can originate from low self esteem brought upon by a teen angst and self-questioning. TLDR You are a teenager, everyone feels this when they are discovering themselves in life.
i'm 18 and i still don't know who i am. I believe you never truly discover who you are because you're building yourself over the years.
shitty country that doesn't deduct health care from everyone's taxes.
Got it all wrong, those are the good countries.
i'm 18 and i still don't know who i am. I believe you never truly discover who you are because you're building yourself over the years.
I know who I am, you just have a brain tumor.
Got it all wrong, those are the good countries. I know who I am, you just have a brain tumor.
If you know who you are, then you lost your main reason to live for :suicide:
