Oh, hey there, seems like you've gotten into the wrong place. We call this a discussion forum, but it's mostly interresting for "grownups", and we try to keep it as civilized as possible. You could always come back in a few years.
I think it was a joke, given the username
I think it was a joke, given the username
shh, let the ''grownup'' be grown.
It used to be classified as a mental condition as severe as necrophilia, but was changed because of political correctness.
And, you know, apart from the other terms, it's really offensive (when classified as severe as necrophilia).
What are you on? It isn't that crowded, in fact - look at my previous post. And regardless, you don't know what the hell evolution is. Evolution would in fact dictate the complete opposite, where the most reproductive would survive. Although you could argue that the ones that don't have any offspring to support would in fact be the ones that have an edge, economically, in our society. In that case, I'd say that you're a self-centered, heartless moron.
It is extremely overpopulated.
I think it was a joke, given the username
Ffffffff- Well played. Generally I just look at the avatars.
Yeah those are good points, could it be population control? how would that mechanism work?
And, you know, apart from the other terms, it's really offensive (when classified as severe as necrophilia).
Oh, necrophilia isn't a disorder. Sometimes you just really don't want to make pillow talk.
Oh, necrophilia isn't a disorder. Sometimes you just really don't want to make pillow talk.
Hah :v:
Yeah those are good points, could it be population control? how would that mechanism work?
It really depends on how you look at evolution. Generally, individuals aren't genetically programmed to do things "for the good of the species"; it's more to do with genes. If an ant's genes "wants" to propagate itself, it might instruct ants to sacrifice themselves for the benefit of other closely related ants - in other words, the gene makes one gene sacrifice itself for the good of other copies of the gene. In this case maybe homosexuality evolved so that one copy of the gene would spend its energy looking after other copies of the gene (siblings) thereby ensuring the gene survives more readily. I'm not sure how a gene could code for population control but I suppose it's a possibility.
I seriously am confound as to why people would ask such a question. When it comes down to it why would it matter if they are happy anyway? Who are you to say someone is ill when it clearly isn't detrimental to their own well being? People should learn to mind their own business and rather than teach their children to fear and hate what they don't understand to try and learn and be more understanding of that.
It upsets me that gays can't get married, why are we so intolerant in these times.
Homosexuality is because of something to do with a chemical inbalance in your brain. So yes, technically it is.
It upsets me that gays can't get married, why are we so intolerant in these times.
Hey, guys can hardly hug, how could we marry?
Homosexuality is more an over time thing that happens to you. I figure it's something like maturity, you aren't really that gay when you're younger, but then it just becomes a part of you and can change over time. Sometimes you act gayer than others just like some days you act more mature than others.

Hey how 'bout we just let gays fuck gays and mind our own business m'kay
Homosexuality is because of something to do with a chemical inbalance in your brain. So yes, technically it is.
Which chemicals?

I also had a crush on my friend in kindergarden.
Pray tell: How does one "act gay"?
Being more flamboyant?
That's a reasonable theory. When I was a kid I could see a nice guy and actually think he's cute. I also had a crush on my friend in kindergarden.
Well that's interesting because a teacher was talking about how there are phases in your life that you go through. One of the early ones if finding your mother attractive(Which you probably wouldn't remember because it was like around the age of 5), the next was finding your own sex attractive around early elementary school(You probably weren't mature enough to act on this), and the last is finally finding girls attractive. I figure there are times when it deviates from that course and so you get homosexuals, bisexuals, and 26 year old weirdos who find their mother attractive. Edited: Actually it was Sigmund Freud(One of my favorite guys ever) who developed this model, getting it now.
Which chemicals?
The imaginary ones.
Pray tell: How does one "act gay"?
Hard to define, but think feminine or generally open and visibly clear about their sexuality. The average would be depressed and closed about their sexuality / only girl-friends know. [editline]09:05PM[/editline]
Being more flamboyant?
Sums it up, pretty much.
Oh shit you ignorant bastard. You can't cure homosexuality. Why? It's not a fucking illness or disorder. Don't fix what ain't broke.
Homosexuality is a genetic trait, and is caused when one half the brain a slightly bigger than the other or when they are both the same size (bisexuality). I don't believe it's a disorder though.
Pray tell: How does one "act gay"?
By acting like you're attracted to your gender.
Homosexuality is a genetic trait and is caused when one half the brain a slightly bigger than the other or when they are both the same size (bisexuality).
Wait, when half of the brain is larger than the other, they're homosexual. When they're the same size, they're bisexual. Where are the straight people?

I'd argue that being flamboyant =/= being gay and vice versa but I can't be bothered, lol.
Well that's interesting because a teacher was talking about how there are phases in your life that you go through.
No. 2 months ago, I thought i was straight. And now I'm pretty happy, so i wouldn't call it a disorder.
But wait you were born gay :downs: People need to stop pretending it's something you're born with. It's just some bizarre way to attempt to gain acceptance for it when that shouldn't even matter.
I believe homosexuality is, in a way, a disorder. Not in a bad way, but it's probably not how the brain is intended to work.
Homosexuality is a genetic trait, and is caused when one half the brain a slightly bigger than the other or when they are both the same size (bisexuality). I don't believe it's a disorder though.
Brain size doesn't correlate to anything as far as I'm aware. You might be referring to hemispheric dominance and other brain structural quirks (e.g. gay male brains resemble straight female brains in some way I can't make heads nor tails over) but no size difference has been noted.
