"Human nature is the concept that there is a set of characteristics, including ways of thinking, feeling and acting, that all 'normal' humans have in common."
Well in that case it merely comes down to how you define normal. At various points in time, opposing slavery, feeling attracted to a black person and supporting communism were all seen to run contrary to human nature. If you're saying that gay people aren't normal humans, then you're basically saying "Gayness goes against the nature of people who aren't gay", which is just a tautology. You might as well say "Not murdering random strangers goes against the nature of normal people, normal people being murderous psychopaths". And before you say stuff about defining it by the majority, if some sort of diabolic madman set up a breeding program to selectively breed gay people, would gay people become normal once they outnumbered straight people? At the end of the day you can't really say what is and isn't human nature because it's so incredibly subjective.
Everyone have his own disorientation
Actually, no, that's not how Evolution/natural selection works. You aren't "meant" to help the species survive anymore than you're "meant" to do anything else.
Actually you are. That's called society. Animals that work together to achieve a goal don't randomly kill each other for no apparent reason. Reproduction has little to do with that.
Well you must not know a lot of people then. Lots of people are said to inherit their "grandfathers temper" or whatever.
Well if it's their parents or relative who frequently sees them saying that then I don't think they would be too keen on telling someone else about their temper which may have been where the person in question got it from, that is if the relative or parent even realised they had a temper and just found it normal because that's what their father did.
"Human nature is the concept that there is a set of characteristics, including ways of thinking, feeling and acting, that all 'normal' humans have in common."
And those characteristics would vary between different people and different communites.
you are dumb
Riveting argument, good chap!

No, you aren't. You aren't born with a genetic predisposition towards fucking men or women. If you want to go ahead and show me a baby and tell me that he loves the cock, I'll go ahead and point out a nutcase. Spoilers:
It's you.

You obviously don't understand simple genetics. I suggest you slowly leave the thread.

This thread is full of idiots, I mean seriously, do some of you HONESTLY believe it's a disease and can be cured? What is this, 1930?
You obviously don't understand simple genetics. I suggest you slowly leave the thread.
Sorry, I find it hard to believe that there are babies who love the cock. If you want to believe that, you go right ahead. But stay the hell away from my children.
Technically it could be. Not saying it's bad.

My grandfather was dead when I was born, and my mum frequently says I've "got his temper". Being gay existed for ages before our time, my question is, well guys, if homosexuality was really a genetic trait, wouldn't all gay people have died out by now by natural selection? As in they wouldn't be able to reproduce thus cutting off the line to future generations of homosexuals from their bloodline.
Sorry, I find it hard to believe that there are babies who love the cock. If you want to believe that, you go right ahead. But stay the hell away from my children.
You really are stupid. He doesn't mean that babies will be born and "love the cock" as you put it, he means that as they grow up they will like boys rather than girls. Babies don't love cock or vag when they are born because they are fucking babies.
Sorry, I find it hard to believe that there are babies who love the cock. If you want to believe that, you go right ahead. But stay the hell away from my children.
Babies don't have a sexuality because they don't have the relevant hormones pumping in their veins. What people mean when they say they were born gay is that at the time that many people develop an attraction towards the opposite gender they developed an attraction to the same gender. Saying people become gay implies that at some point they were straight. You don't say that people "become" straight when you talk about the onset of puberty, do you?
You don't say that people "become" straight when you talk about the onset of puberty, do you?
I sure as hell don't say that people are born straight, either. Why must people word what they mean shittily?
I sure as hell don't say that people are born straight, either. Why must people word what they mean shittily?
Well, if people don't say that babies are born straight and people don't say that babies become straight, what do people say?
Well, if people don't say that babies are born straight and people don't say that babies become straight, what do people say?
That people are gay or straight?
It's a "disorder", but that doesn't mean it's bad and needs to be "cured" or anything.
It's a "disorder", but that doesn't mean it's bad and needs to be "cured" or anything.
With this, we should end the thread.
That people are gay or straight?
Which in turn suggests sexuality is innate and people don't become it?
Not all disorders are bad :v: (I'm not gay lol)
It's a "disorder", but that doesn't mean it's bad and needs to be "cured" or anything.
Probably the best response. If only you'd posted that directly after OP :(
Of course it's natural, my female dog humps my other female dog.
More like a psych condition. (tl;dr'd the whole thread.)
Which in turn suggests sexuality is innate and people don't become it?
Suggestions aren't necessarily true.
Of course it's natural, my female dog humps my other female dog.
Animals can have disorders too.
