ROCK THE breen BOAT BY Voting
39,261 votes | 40,065 votes; Breen. Yes. [editline]06:08PM[/editline]
LuiS-07 Posted Sep 11, 2010 6:00 pm GMT Raam beat shao Kahn and sephiroth, do you want the killer of seph and Kahn to be beaten by brine? Or do you want to prove that Kahn and seph are so badass that the villain who Killed them off the list is better than any other game villain. I dunno up to you
Did I miss something?
JORGE_JOCKER Posted Sep 11, 2010 5:04 pm GMT Voted RAAM cuz I hate half-life since Gordon won against Snake -.-

Hfsm22 Posted Sep 11, 2010 4:58 pm GMT RAAM is a badass general. He led the locust army in battle, ambushed the puny humans and made them retreat and even disposed Kim in the most badass, up close kill ever. And is the final boss in Gears of War and sure can get his hands dirty. Breen sold humanity through diplomacy. His actions only prove him to be a coward and a sefish old man.

sonynhater Posted Sep 11, 2010 3:48 pm GMT Dr. Breen is not a good villain. All he does is just talk and is the city ruler. Oh he's a bad guy just because he's in charge. What if he's the good guy and freeman is just a pawn because he listens to everyone around him and does not think for himself.
The comments section is comedy gold.
I hope I don't wake up tomorrow to see Breen eliminated. When does it end?
He put the entire Earth under brutal martial law. He is responsible for the near annihilation of the human species. How is that not evil?
Actually he did save us. He does have a point. If not for Breen it would have been the complete annihilation of the human species, and not just the near annihilation.
We voted Gordon Freeman top video game hero, we can vote Dr. Breen top video game villain.
Actually he did save us. He does have a point. If not for Breen it would have been the complete assimilation of the human species, and not just the near annihilation.
Fixed it for you; remember the Combine's namesake, folks.
He betrayed mankind? Well, hes got my vote.
It's pathetic that even when they bribe their players, the Gears of War producers can't make their character win a simple vote.
Guys, Valve did this bribing thing, too. But it was much more fair (They do sales constantly), and it actually worked. I guess it's not cheating if it worked out in the end.
Fuck yeah, Breen deserves this far more than Raam.
I haven't been following this. The hell is with the huge RAAM bias in the comments? Breens slightly winning, yet like all the comments say how much better RAAM is. Are all the Breen voters not talking or something?

Dr. Breen was never truly a villain in the conventional sense. He was a man pressured by circumstance, and honestly gave humans somewhat of a fighting chance
Winning by almost 1,000 now. I hope we don't get steamrolled, if actual idiots vote RAAM instead of Breen and not /b/ I might have to kill myself
Breen is a fag, end of story
I really, really really hate you
Guys! We want a Steam sale! Vote!
You've got my vote.
I played Gears of War and I don't know who Raam is.
12 year olds vote for RAAM because "he is more badass". Breen is a great, complex character, and the perfect villain for Half-Life. That said, I don't really care about this, just my 2 cents.

The RAAM supporters logic is either the same logic that says that a violent drunk is a greater villain than Josef Stalin, or the same logic that says that it doesn't matter who's really a better villain, so long as Cliff Blesinski gives me imaginary numbers in a video game.
Fixed it for you; remember the Combine's namesake, folks.
No, if not for Breen's actions I consider it likely that they would simply have turned the 7 hour war into a ~9 hour war and ended it and just run off with all of Earth's resources. Assimilation is what is happening after Breen.
Now that I think about it I feel sorry for Breen, he was just trying to stop the war by surrendering. It's hardly his fault that the Earth is a decrepit mess.

Assimilation is what is happening after Breen.
That's not entirely true. Breen stepped forward to sell out humanity, but in the process was really buying us time. They said "We'll give you power if you give us Freeman" and that's just what Breen decided to do. The Seven Hour War started as a result of the Combine wanting teleportation technology, not resources from Earth. And Breen was the administrator for Black Mesa. And the Combine knew that Black Mesa was where humanity developed teleportation. [editline]10:25PM[/editline] This is pretty much implied in the one sided conversation with Mossman that everybody ignored in the elevator in Eli's lab.
Breen better win this.
It's kind of stupid how Darth Vader and Joker are in this. They're not even video game characters really.
