Really though what the fuck is up with thus production. They use the same 2 studios to do the animation for all their shows and none of the others have problems like this, as far as I'm aware.
At least the background is consistent.

What really erks me is how irrelevant most of this stuff is gonna be a few years time. Hell, even now a lot of the content is dated. Their a good chance no one's gonna give a shit about Gamergate, memes or twerking 5 years from now. Great way to date a show. They've turned the PPGs into the 2010's versions of 90's cool kidz characters.
Also having fun the reading though the thread again watching the cautious optimism quickly turn into disgust and disappointment.

Hey, a MEGAS XLR one-off giant robot based around the same design as Megas, but basically an all-electric Tesla-made car with the punchline being that it can't find a place to recharge would be great. :v: It sounds like something the show would do.
But there's 0 chance for them to reboot MXLR outside of Adult Swim. It was way too much of a counter-culture show, what with the decrepit imagery of Jersey, sci-fi locations, anime-esque style and inspiration, constant parodying of other media, arguably the most extreme violence/fighting on CN, and Coop as the main driving force behind the plot. And changing any of that would already threaten ruining the entire point of the show.
Unlike PPG, making it topical would also be way harder. I mean [i]holy shit[/i] is NewPPG topical. It doesn't even seem like something children would understand easily, let alone have fun watching.
Megas XLR was the shit, I need to rewatch that.

Don't be. I didn't even watch the original show that much and I wanted this reboot to be good. But the more previews I saw it the more I realized how awful it was going to be...but there just still that sliver of hope in me I could be proved wrong when the show started to air.
That hope died instantly in the first episode when Buttercup and Blossom had their 'rap off'. Ugh.
When are the girls gonna fight off a Trump pastiche who wants to wall off Townsville to keep evil out.
