What a real shame is, is Adventure time, Regular Show, and Gumball don't even air that often anymore. IIRC they get a showing once before adult swim starts. The rest of the network seems dedicated to showing Teen Titans GO and to a lesser extent Uncle Grandpa.

They really tried to experiment with a lot of live action shows for a short while. I'm pretty sure they all flopped and now they want to forget that ever happened.

Nah, the good cartoons are on XD, which comes with most premium cable channels. The regular channel is just nothing but sitcoms now and the occasional Disney Channel Original Movie.

The 2000s were a pretty dark time for CN because it was when Flash was first being used as the norm for cartoons, which resulted in a bunch of shows looking like shit in return for being cheap as fuck to produce. Nowadays we have shows like Gravity Falls and MLP that show how good flash can look if used correctly but even then we still have PPG trying to bring us back to the flash stone age.
