The five stages of gifting:
1. Kindness - You gift because you like that warm feeling you get inside when someone gets a game they want.
2. Responsibility - You gift because you are on a quest to aid the poor. You have a reputation to protect.
3. Uncertainty - "Why do I keep gifting these people? They're only interested in my bank balance."
4. Bitterness - You become an asshole because you have spent so much money on people who don't really give a shit about you. You turn into an asshole and have a huge following of poor people who will fight your corner no matter what.
5. Meltdown - You seek to destroy everything associated with your gifting past, i.e. that time when I kicked everyone out of the thread group and got the mods to end the threads for almost a year till Pascall made this one.
You're at stage 3.
