My main focus is on the iPhone side of things, since the devices (iOS in general) are probably more widespread than Android ones amongst FP, plus it's what I'm used to. I'll happily pay for this app.[/QUOTE] I'm developing on an iPhone 4, so of course I'll be supporting this. Also to all the people complaining about price. Consider this; I'll be spending pretty much hundreds of hours on this app, so a small charge or the revenue from ads is paying for the time I've spent writing and testing the app, providing any servers that it relies on, paying for my iPhone Developer Program account and so on. When you consider this, it's really not much.

Will this work on the 8GB Second Gen ipod touch?

Release the 59p one then the free one 2 weeks later. I'd happily buy it.

Free version will work on iOS 4.0 onwards, paid version should work on 3.X onwards, but this will be shown in the App Store listing anyway. Just another note by the way, don't forget as developers we only get 70% of the revenue from the app, so on a 59p app, we get only 41p. You have to sell about 150 copies just to make back what you paid for the developer account. The App Store really isn't lucrative for small developers at such low price points, only companies like EA can create decent apps at price points so low and still stay profitable. That and small developers producing 2 minute fart apps.

I like how a lot of people thought it was a dumb idea when it was proposed before, but now that Hexxeh is doing it, it's suddenly brilliant. Probably has something to do with the fact that he's going through with it.

This is going to be awesome, now I can post on facepunch even more often than usual.
