Yes but I don't want to lock out those using older versions. Besides, it doesn't make a difference unless I want to use functionality only available in newer versions, which I don't.
To be fair, anyone using 2.1 will get the Firefox Fennec browser which renders almost as good as MicroB

Really because I never would have guess that's what you were demonstrating. You didn't have the menu open that says that so you really could have been showing us anything on that image

Right now quite a few devices can't be upgraded past 1.6 and won't be like the T-Mobile G1 and MyTouch 3G. (Unless you put something like CyanogenMod on them anyway.)

That's basically what I said. I have 2.2 running on my G1 via CyanogenMod. The only problem is that it runs poorly because 2.1 and 2.2 weren't designed by Google with the G1 or MyTouch 3G in mind. Even Cyanogen himself got rid of his G1. (He has his wife use his MyTouch 3G.)
Anyway, it might bring more people to Facepunch as well.
