Can't find the specific post regarding the specific boot-screen, so I'll reply to this. With the one with the loading Facepunch logo that looks like it's filling with water, does the app really need to show progress while loading? It's not going to be very processor intensive.

Swiping to the left with two fingers as in multitouch, unifying post rating would be swiping one at a time and then rating them all at once
But then again, if the scrolling idea wasn't used, then you could do the unifying function with multitouch as well. They're really more suggestions, I think someone else might have a better idea on how this would all work :P
There are events on the UITableViewRow for swiping left and right on a row, there's no provision for more fingers.

Searching in UITableViews generally works by pulling it down to reveal a search box. Try it on the contacts app or something.
