It's funny how we have on one side Hexxeh working on this and we're all like
'oh shit, this is gonna be awesome' and in the programming subforum, there's LinuX 'working' on an android version and everyone's like 'LinuX, you suck, just stop'.

I'm sorry hexxeh but at this point i don't see a point in having a paid version, at least for people with 2.2 android devices.
Try GPRS and you'll understand the pain (most of my area isn't covered in 3G at all). Plus using the application uses less data, good if you're on a limited data plan.

In fact, i am using it right now. I'm sitting on a bus right now.
The bus is just waiting at the station and my uni has campus wide wifi (surprisingly fast). So, that's how i tested the load times with wifi.

There may well not be a free version on Android. It's going to be a lot of effort for something I can't even use myself, and the ad revenue is probably less on Android too.

No, what i've essentially done is to show you that your app won't make a huge difference for me because as i told you i am using my phone RIGHT NOW. However, unlike those other kids who will just be like "LOL, IT WORKS", i can help you test it properly on a device which you don't own and i get your app for free in return.
