Maybe it's just the current state of the labs, but the thread selection on the Ipad looks like it should be bigger.
Also, what's Hexxeh's avatar from?
Developing solely on the device simulator is painful.
Trust me, developing on the phone is even more painfully. You need to push the app everytime you compile and then make it run. I love the emulator but I'm happy to see that google is going to look into supplying a device for you!
Most guys are just posting to gain attantion from hexxeh so they get invited to the beta
Don't get me wrong
And he stated if anyone tries to get this attention, they won't gain access to the beta.
We already discussed most ideas, Now what?
[editline]Edit[/editline]
Ow yeah, testing the stuff out in the Labs
Did hexxeh decide on a logo already? Lets make more.
Did hexxeh decide on a logo already? Lets make more.
I believe he already has it locked on one. I dont know for sure.
Hexxeh, do you have to make a progress report/logbook for your assignment? If so, can we see it/parts off?
Will THE sourcecode be released? Because I would like to make a custom GUI just for myself ;). If nessecary I will pay you for it.
Highly doubt it. Hexxeh is gonna make money from this, he won't give it away
I said that I will pay for it if I need to(max 30$). *sigh* read better.
Uh $30 against the fact you might salvage the code and release another app for profit?
No but you can pay me for a custom version if you want. You're not having the code for obvious reasons.
Will there be quick-reply?
No but you can pay me for a custom version if you want. You're not having the code for obvious reasons.
i get the obvious reasons. the main thing i wanted to do was to make the ipad layout the same as in the default mail app.
Hexxeh could do that for an update.
You looking forward to getting your N1?

The iPad shots I shown are just the iPhone version running on the iPad. If I end up doing an official iPad version I'll use a split view controller just like Mail does.

Very much so.
Have you looked into the Android saving methods yet?
hexxeh if you want i can make the special ipad gui for you. then i can finally do something useful with my objective-c skills and my apple developer status...
[editline]08:47PM[/editline]
well to be honest my dad's apple dev status... -_-' but i have a dev registered iphone and read like 3 books on developing with the iphone sdk and programming in objective-c
This is truly clever!

I work in JS, not Obj-C. If you want to throw some designs together in Interface Builder and post screenshots here, then that'd be cool.
i shall do that.it will be done within 24 hours if possible.
Hexxeh, I don't know if you have answered this in your 33 pages, but since you are developing cross-platform, which is easier to develop on in your opinion? Android or iOS?
iOS by far.
I'm gonna say iOS as well.
depends ios is great but it sucks when it comes to openGL
EDIT:
90% of all mobile devices suck at opengl
iOS by far.
This is bad news for me, who has a Droid 2.
iOS :h:
I'd love the split view on the iPad, hell maybe I could mock that up.
