It's not just an app with a build-in browser. The speed increases and the overall snapiness over the regular browsing experience makes this worth 2.99.

You won't be able to... Since technically you should only have one account one Facepunch, your purchase of the app is linked to your account. Sharing the app is no use, since it'll get flagged up and we can take appropriate action against both accounts.

Does the app take the Ipod Id as well and store it? Like because apps that use Plus+, crystal, and openfeint automatically know its your ipod that youre using. Like is there a way to detect it? Rubbish idea. Say your account gets permabanned - you've just had your $2.99 app taken away from you. You shouldn't have to login to browse facepunch from the app - that is incredibely retarded. Better idea for keeping the app alive: - Hexxeh jailbreaks his iDevice - installs Installous (pirating app) - every week searches for FP - Reports all of the download links to their hosts threatening legal action. - Users give up and realise that $2.99 is nothing.

If you're a rule-abiding Facepunch user you shouldn't have a problem with it. I'm not going into the technical details so much as I don't want people trying to circumvent it (I don't believe it's possible, but even so). This does mean you won't be able to use two accounts (yours and a friends) on the same copy of the app for now, but I'm trying to work out an improved system where you can do this and still protect the app.

There's a free version with ads. You can try that, and if you like it, you can upgrade to get rid of the ads and unlock the extra features.
