Why does no one ever think of the evo when comparing android phones to the iPhone. Its a great phone, and in my experience, its just as great as the iPhone. Better in some cases.
Because it's still inferior GPU-wise and has the same processor as the Droid Incredible. It uses the older Snapdragon GPU which is laughable. The iPhone is just better than every phone but the Galaxy S phones in raw spec terms. EDIT: I also forgot to mention that the Hummingbird processor that Samsung uses is a little faster than the current Snapdragon processors, except maybe the one in the G2.
Filled in the survey. I have to say, getting your UDID is really annoying. It's insanely long and there's no way to c/p it or something.
Edit/Copy. :v:

We don't want a flame war in here. Personally I love both iOS and Android. That's why I've got an iPhone and an evo, and I will be getting an Adam Tablet at release.
Is it out for Android yet
Is it out for Android yet
No.
Well i figured thats what you meant from that, but you can never be sure :saddowns:
I tried Facebook today for the first time ever. Takes me like 10 minutes to find someone and then I spend an hour sending out friend requests. All of a sudden people begin clogging my news feed with dumb shit, but then out of no where two girls show up in my news feed, both I was planning on asking out. It's like, Facebook is stalking me more then I was stalking those girls. :wtc:
Mhmm, iDevices are 100% better than android based ones.
Please go away. You make the rest of us iPhone users look like imbeciles.
Submitted the form. This keeps on looking better; can't wait to use it.

There's many devices have the same CPU. Even this $199 Chinese tablet has the same CPU @800Mhz http://www.merimobiles.com/Witstech_A81E_Android_2_2_800MHz_CPU_Market_Free_C_p/meri0306.htm
cortex a8 motherfuckers
Got my Nexus One from Google today, veryyy nice phone. Tempted to switch from my iPhone 4. Might use it for a little while see how they are to live with. Anyhow, this means that I've got everything I need for when the Android port starts moving, which is good.
Wow Awesome I love goggle
Wow Awesome I love goggle
No you don't you didn't even spell their company name correctly...
Congratulations Hexxeh, Good luck developing for Android. Not that you will need it.
Do you even know what CPU the Iphone 4 uses? There's many devices have the same CPU.
Many devices have a similar CPU but it isn't the same. Apple's A4 gets much better floating point performance.
Sorry Mr. Voice-of-Facepunch, most people believe iDevices are better than Android based ones.
judging from both this forum and real life, your statement is incorrect.
So did they actually write that on the back because of your Chrome OS stuff, or is that a standard developer package?
I don't see why they'd include a Chrome flyer with an Android developer package :v:

Fucks sake, I need to learn how to make a highly successful OS for netbooks which uses Google open source code. ANDROID FOR TABLETS
Get a rom manager etc
Hexxeh, since you're using Appcelerator, the Android version should be at the same stage of development as the iPhone, no?
What is the progress on this? I'm excited for it
Many devices have a similar CPU but it isn't the same. Apple's A4 gets much better floating point performance.
It's exactly the same, Apple don't make the CPU.
Hexxeh, since you're using Appcelerator, the Android version should be at the same stage of development as the iPhone, no?
from what I've seen of appcelerator, it should be close, but there are some platform specific differences
It's exactly the same, Apple don't make the CPU.
My God, you're stubborn as hell. It has a different design by Apple, but it's based on the other CPU. I mean for fuck's sakes, you tried to argue that a piece of shit Android tablet from China with a hellish resistive screen was 'pretty good,' why do I take you seriously?
