Either way it made the developer(s) of the app an easy billion so for that reason alone I think it was a fantastic addition. I don't use Instagram though.

i hooked my instagram up to my facebook and it didnt ask me for a username and password, it launches the app if you have it, not ask for username and pass.

Couldn't the OP use the PrtScrn button and save the picture in case the guy who stole it deletes the evidence?
Whats the amount someone would have to steal for you to press charges? Me and a friend we're robbed about two years ago, but i'm not sure what really happened to the guy after he was caught. I never got my phone or my $40 back.

Man i had to face the same thing at school. A friend of mine had to get it back for me and the thief's email was still in the log in section and it gave me their last name. what an idiot. Glad you got it back man
