Hey guys, I'm having some weird problem, but before I explain the situation, I have very little to almost no knowledge of vape parts and such. Long story short, my friend gave me his vape that uses an Mephisto El Diablo coil base/drip tip/etc. with a Atmomixani Nemesis mod. He's had it for about 6 months, but it's been working perfectly for him. The issue is that earlier yesterday, I was leaving my college dorm after the semester ended, and I used the vape. I put it down for a few minutes after making sure the button at the bottom was twisted on so it wouldn't randomly run on. I try to use it again roughly 10 minutes later, and it does not want to work. I did a few things to make sure it should work fine, such as charging the battery (charger said it was full), switching the way the battery was facing, twisting the bottom button to different positions, checking the coil base, and making sure there was juice inside, but to no avail.I even had the friend who gave it to me look at it and all he noticed was that the bottom button is "very loose", but I'm not sure why it would randomly become loose if it was sitting on my desk and not being used. Anyone have any ideas?

I had to do it all the time with my nemesis clone. Sorry if I am wrong.
Checked the screw, it was very tightly on the button. I tried making it looser to see if it would help, but sill nothing.
Hey guys, vaper here. I have been using the Fantasia brands because their flavours are always authentic and really fucking good, but I'm trying to vary here. Any other brand I should seek? Nothing with nicotine since IMO it really fucks the flavour up, tastes like swallowing toothpaste. [IMG]http://puu.sh/i47rB/a2d8d6b144.jpg[/IMG]
is this the right place to talk about herbal vapes too? I just bought one yesterday, and I don't think I'm using it correctly? I turn it on, let it warm up, insert my desired herb and when I suck I get that taste but nothing seems to happen in terms of effects, and I get no visible vapor(though the guy at the store said that was kinda normal?) the vape itself is a titan-1, by the way. am I just an idiot and I'm doing it wrong?
Forgot this thread existed. I'm currently vaping a Lotus Jellyfish and an Airek RDA clone (and a modified drip tip because you can't have enough airflow) [thumb]http://puu.sh/i9ey8/d461de2762.jpg[/thumb] [editline]1st June 2015[/editline] [QUOTE=0x0000000C;47827443]Hey guys, vaper here. Crunch Berry is my goto flavor.
I keep forgetting this threads around too. I'm picking up a box mod soon and a kanger subtank, not sure if im gunna nab the mini or regular. I like that its got a mini RDA attachment as i wanna try out making my own wicks and coils but im not sure if i want to be arsed to do it everytime. Debating on a box mod though as i'm just moving up from a VV spinner II . I'm probably going to go with either just what i see plenty of others using, an MVP 3 or an iStick 50w. The mvp is rather alluring thanks to the output port where like if need be i can charge my phone because ive been meaning to get a battery bank for my phone. But the istick does have a larger battery at 4400mah and looks to be slimmer. Could also maybe go with an mvp 3 pro, i mean i dont need 60watts, i dont really need 50 but its an mvp with a bigger battery to it. Quite surprised by the performance vs price ratio though, ive seen other box mods that do less go for double the price of these things. What temp are you setting it to? ive found that it wont start to actually produce any vapor until about 340 degrees but i usually ramp it up to 380. Also another thing, pack it first THEN let it heat up. You also want to take slow but steady drags due to lower vape production. Something to note though that these herbal vapes dont produce much vapor at all in general. As well as the highs you obtain from them are slower to come on but last longer.
I tried all 3 settings on mine (which are 340, 380, and 420 iirc) and I didn't seem to get much of a high. but there's probably a few factors that didn't help, like I said I let it warm before I packed it, and additionally it wasn't fully charged etc. I'll try again now and see if I can get better results.
yeah pack it before you turn it on, and dont pack it real tight, the way these works, again i have a titan II not a 1 but this is how mine works, is these are convection based vapes. What that means is you need airflow as theres a heat source circulating hot air around the chamber. So pack it but dont like firmly mash it in there, leave some room and don't overpack. First time i used mine i sucked on it for about 30 minutes getting such little amounts of vapor and i was let down as i wasnt feeling anything after those 30 minutes. Then like 10-15 mins later suddenly i realized i was pretty damn gone.
yeah it toally works now guys thank you
np man, enjoy
So I just got an eGo one. Idk if maybe i'm doing something wrong or what. It has a new coil, the 1ohm, and im using 20/80 juice and it always seems to burn the juice and its horrible. I also have the general kanger evod which i really enjoy. any ideas on what might be the issue with the ego one?
are you priming the wick?

Also, the nicotine level might be so high it affects the flavor (it gives a sorta peppery taste). I dunno if the eGo One has variable voltage, but you could also just be completely frying the coil. Finally, if it has adjustable airflow, giving it more space to breathe might help.

So thw wick had plenty of time. but it tasted burnt at first i figured it was just the coil since it was brand new, and then i could taste the flavor, but then it went right back to tasting burnt. The airflow is all the way open and it doesn't have an adjustable voltage. the nicotine is only 6mg, so it's not much.
Is E-cigs a cheaper, reliable nicotine delivery system? I'm horribly addicted to snus, (it's a substance you lay under your lip, extremely common in Scandinavia) but I just don't have money to waste on it any more
Chewing tobacco can definitely be replaced with vaping.
So I just got into vaping; picked up an aspire atlantis starter kit from mt baker. I've read some distressing stuff about the construction of this thing and its coils, however. Namely, the use of brass in place of stainless steel and the use of "ceramic fiber" in place of cotton. I read that Aspire switched to a stainless steel construction and cotton coils after some outcry, but I think what I got from mt baker is a pre-reform model. At least, I'm fairly certain it came with ceramic coils. Should I be concerned about either of these issues? The ceramic thing can be easily remedied if so (I'll just pick up some cotton replacements), but the brass thing has me worried that I just bought a major health hazard.

I was hooked on extra nicotine longcut stuff. But it worked for me. The thing with vaping is though i never really got the same sort of buzz i got with dip and i still don't. But vaping is more efficient with delivering nicotine. So while you may not get exactly the same sort of buzz, itll still feel nice and it will stem off wanting to use dip/snus for a fix.

[QUOTE=xeo xeo;47888996]Thanks, can you give me a ball-park estimate on how much money you're spending on it every month?[/QUOTE] Well when i first started i bought a setup for about 40 bucks. I bought like two bottle of 15ml juice from mt baker for like 6 bucks each. 1 bottle would originally last me like almost a month. I bought some coils for like 8 bucks and i always cleaned them weekly so i was able to use one singular coil without loss of flavor for like 3 weeks. So ballpark if you are like not vaping all the fucking time every day id say when i started monthly cost was like 15 bucks a month. Not including the initial money spent on buying the setup and i really used the shit out of my coils. Now i vape all the damn time so i'd go through a 15ml bottle in like a week or so.
I just might have to try this out, I'm burning through like 40 bucks a month on snus and it's fucking killing my bank account
rebuilt my first rda, sure the coil was premade but jesus that was simple and my lord i didn't think it'd be much different from a factory made coil but my god it's amazing
I got the MVP 3.0 the other day along with the iSub tank, is this a good starting setup?
I got this juice from a local head shop called Strawberry Gummi Bear. I was really reluctant at first, but it turned out to be pretty good.
[QUOTE=Exigent;47914659]I got the MVP 3.0 the other day along with the iSub tank, is this a good starting setup?[/QUOTE] I really hate the built-in phone charger on the MVP 3.0. Feels cheap and gross compared to an otherwise completely solid metal build. No complaints otherwise, using an Aspire Atlantis tank.
You guys like the MVP in general then? It's on massdrop now, toying with picking it up to go with my Atlantis. [editline]16th June 2015[/editline] Also I need a real small setup to take to the bars with me, any suggestions? I was thinking like a Nautilus mini but I wasn't sure on a mod.
im having a tough time building sub ohm coils getting it to where i want them. I'm new to building in general but i got it down so that i can do them okayishly. I'm shooting for at least anything in the .5 range but the closest i got was .56 doing a parallel coil and it took a lot of adjustments after wrapping and even more after wicking it. Pre wicking it i had .52 which i was actually a bit proud of as before that i was wrapping like .7's. After wicking it it jumped to .65 and after fiddling settled at .56 .

The thicker the wire, the less resistance and vice versa. Also, if your readings are jumping make sure your screws are tight! Mine sometimes jumps after juicing, but after a hit it clears up. [editline]24th June 2015[/editline] By the way, the IPV3 Li came out, and I was gonna pick one up, but the construction looks really shoddy. I'm gonna wait for YiHi to release the chip itself publicly and make my own box mod. Anyone have any tips?
