I've had my panzer for quite some time now. Looks pretty beat up :( So I'm looking at a chi you megan as a replacement. I'm interested in the size difference since it looks nice and beefy in your hand.
As of now I'm running dual .3 or .4 ohm micros on 24 gauge kanthal which is dope. Wrappin all day erryday. I'll post a picture soon!
Recently I did try vape/dabbing. Works marvelously. We did a micro coil. Micro was definitely better at getting anything that would liquify at the bottom of the tank. I can confirm I got very stoned. Works with budder, oil, and wax. I haven't tried others though.
I feel like a lot of this rebuildable stuff got popular this summer, or maybe it's just because I really got into rebuildables this summer and so did my friends
I bought a e-cig a couple weeks ago
Yeah, it's a bit of fun but tbh the novelty for me wore off in less than a week. I'm not using it to quit smoking though

what kind did you get?
Wow shit, there is a vape thread now? I got one recently. It's just a basic starter though. Using Vapor Nation's Raspberry with 18mg's.

also its an eGo-T battery with a Smok BBC tank
E-cigs are bad for your health they say, but the real question is: is e-cigs more healthy than normal cigs
So I have a blu-ecig USB charger and the battery. I looked it up and all I need is 510 cartridge or a blu Cartomizer for it?
I am brand new to this. Do they sell Cartomizers or pre-filled cartridges at like Walgreens/walmart/gas stations/ etc? I would like the Cherry Crush.
Do you guys know about any E-Cig sites that take paypal?
Do you guys know about any E-Cig sites that take paypal?
afaik, none of them do. It's some paypal policy against tobacco products

The only thing i've found is that when you are running at very high voltages (4.8ish) and burning your juice, it produces formaldehyde about equivalent to a cigarette per puff. If you're not burning your juice, it is about 0.125% that amount or less.
edit: should clarify that i mean per puff of a cig compared to a puff of vapor, not a puff of vapor = 1 cig

Nothing > E-cigs > Cigarettes
If you gotta have nicotine it'd be better for you to do e-cigs
E-cigs are bad for your health they say, but the real question is: is e-cigs more healthy than normal cigs
Some say the nicotine is higher, but the fact that its vapor is safer, others say the mystery chemicals are also pretty bad. No good studies have been done that give precise answers.

The nicotine is higher, but without the potentiating chemicals in cig smoke you only absorb around 10-30% of it into your bloodstream. And secondhand nicotine exposure is next to zilch
Oh wow. I just asked gurant about making a thread like this, without realizing it already existed.
Hey boys and gals. Heavytime vaper here, commin straight from my 22gauge sleeper coil.
I myself am a little of a collector, sitting with my Hades 26650 in my hand right now, and loving it.
Its nice to see people going over to e-cigs as a healthy alternative to tobacco.

Nice!!!
I'm probably going to get some flat 22 soon. How are you liking the 26650 mod vs an 18650 or 18mm sized one? I'm looking into getting a Chi You Megan 318, but I don't know about the size. I may just have that be my show off vape haha.
Do the 26650 mods hit as hard as the 18650 ones? In terms of the different batteries and copper(or is it brass) vs silver connections? I've never actually used one. My vape shop had your exact one, I think. He said it came with a sleeve making it adaptable to an 18650 battery.

For me, i havent noticed a aingle difference of it between mods, ever. Its always the coil or the battery, and whilst a 26650 bat has a lower amp limit than say the purple efest or the vtc5, i just adjust the coils i build. The 26650 bat might be a little weaker overall when it comes to the hit. But dayumn. Dat batterylife.
Another thing with hades is that if you dont remove the floating pin in the topcaps connector, you will get insane voltage drops.
Also flat 22? You cray? Take a hammer to some 22 instead. Cheaper and more or less the same.

I have 22 on order, I haven't even looked at the pricing of flat 22. I guess I'll do that if it's cheaper, 100 feet of the wire is pretty cheap in general so I can just flatten it myself.
Yeah. $5 for 5 feet of flat wire is ridiculous.
Do you carry your mod in your pocket? Does it feel too big? The 18650 I have will sag my pants a little if they're too big, I can only imagine the 26650 mod will be worse in my pocket. That's why I may not bring it anywhere.
[editline]22nd August 2014[/editline]
What ohms are you running on that build in the picture? It looks like a lot of wraps. Like .5 or .7?

I believe its 0.5 ohm. Not entirely sure cause I was just stupid enough to break my ohm meter. Mate is comming with another tomorrow.
I do from time to time carry my mod in my pocket, but i got myself an old camera bag, then rebuilt that into a vapebag!
I've been vaping for a while with a Protank 2 and an iTaste MVP, and I just bought a Kayfun Lite Plus clone. To be honest, I'm a little scared to use it. Anyone have a nifty guide for it?

As long as you have an ohm meter, you'll do alright. Check this tutorial aswell.

A tip, if its the first time building it, don't fill the tank fully. just fill it tiny bits, try it, and if its shit, redo it.
Have patience, getting that first build is hard, but once you got the knack of it, you'll be alright

That video seems pretty good. And the MVP has a multimeter built into it, which I can use.
[editline]24th August 2014[/editline]
Alright, just built mine. It's registering at 2.1, and with 65/35 Ecto Cooler it's not really impressing me. I can get better vapor from my protank 2, but I'm sure I'm probably building the coil wrong.

What about the flavour? any better / worse? also is that PG/VG or VG/PG?
Usually i try to land mine around 1.2-1.3 ohm, but thats just my personal preference.

The Stilare is great for dual builds.

To anyone with a Stilare, get the hole under the mouthpiece drilled out, it'll stop spitting juice in your mouth and you'll get crazy fat hits.

The only real credible study that i've read pretty much stated that second hand smoke from an e-cig was still very unhealthy for both vapers and bystanders.
However the methods they used for the test are pretty specific and not likely to be a very frequently recreated scene.
They had about 10 or so people in a small room vaping for hours then tested the air in the room. It contained trace amounts of harmful materials and they study concluded that secondhand smoke from a vape is about as bad as cigarette smoke. When they used a very small room with a lot of people and kept them in there for over 3 hours. Even after all of that all they found were "traces" of harmful materials in the air.
I'm debating as to whether I should get an ecig to help me quit smoking. Have any of you had experience in doing so?
I'm debating as to whether I should get an ecig to help me quit smoking. Have any of you had experience in doing so?
After four years of smoking, I was at two packs a day.
people look at me like I'm crazy when I'm dripping 24 mg nicotine on my atty but it's what's kept me from smoking
i picked up vaping to get myself off dipping tobacco.
It completely cut down on my dip usage but i still use it every once and a while as like a reward thing.
When i first got my vaporizer though in the first month my cigarette usage plummeted to like maybe 2 cigs a day. However i always used high doses of nicotine since i used dip to get a buzz and never could get them off cigarettes, so when i didn't have my vaporizer and was out with friends i'd end up smoking twice as much. But that was just shitty self control which i've mostly corrected.
Dude it's really hard on the first week. But you just keep getting that vape buzz going and you're used to that instead of cigs. At least that's how t worked for me. It helps if you have a friend who's really into it too. My bro and I would build coils, I'd get so vaped out if I smoked a cig I'd probably hurl haha. That doesn't happen anymore though, I'm down to 3 and 6mg. It's been a month and a half. I will sneak them, but I roll my tobacco. I can enjoy the taste with coffee occasionally.
It's fun dripping 12mg and puffing it like its 3 or 6. Head rush like no ones business
Well, I got an E-Lite and a pack of tobacco today to see how much it helps me refrain from rolling a fag. Since I bought it I've smoked 3 or 4 and that's down from around 15 a day. I'm just wondering how long the battery and vape will last because the shop didn't sell chargers. I smoke like a chimney usually and I think I'll cane it before - never mind, I already have, the fucking battery's just run out. It's a tenner for the charger and as for the cartridges it's similar to the price of the tobacco I smoke if we're going by the advertised number of cigarettes a single cartridge equates to.
I'm thinking going cold turkey may be a better choice because it's no use dumping cigs if I'm just getting addicted to something else in their place. 50% of the reason I want to quit is the financial drain.

New build  The vape shop I design for does free maintenance and builds. They always do a great job.
That looks industrial as fuck! Like some machine wrapped it. Freaking awesome, bet heat distribution on the coil is perfecto
