No. You can still get some quality stuff. Trust me, I've studied sound technology for two years now.
B) No. There are websites which allow you to simply enter the url, click "convert to MP3", and after a brief wait download it.
whoah, expert in the building
I don't care about the quality as long as it doesn't peak, crackle or crunch at a reasonable volume
There's a good chance the U.S. will never see Spotify since record companies refuse to budge from their old selfish tactics, refusing to adapt with changing times and attempting to force society to change instead. All they're doing is shooting themselves in the foot.

get your CD-QUALITY 128KBPS RIPS from THE MUSIC BAY dot ORG
Spending days looking at FLAC/MP3 pages on Wikipedia isn't worth filling your hard drive with over sized files
protip: don't pm me for what.cd invites. you're not getting any. go to #what.cd-invites instead.

The mIRC interview thing basically asks if you are autistic enough to join by asking stupid shit about MP3, Wav, flac and stuff

okay plebeian.
That's why you pay Premium for one month, so you can use it anywhere
That doesn't solve anything but my problem. Few people even know Spotify exists.
An identical TPB-based service would become more successful faster on behalf of the founding organization's fame (or perhaps infamy).
No, I'm pretty sure fans of PirateBay would just say, "Uhh, why would I listen to indie bands when I can download AC/DC and Lil Wayne off of PirateBay".
It's going to be an illegal music download service of some sort.
I pretty much only pirate music because artists these days are so rich off their ass
Not really

You really don't understand the music industry, do you?
The thing is that some people don't understand, is that last year was the most successful year for the music industry in terms of sales, they sold more music than they have before, the only place that I can see where they lose a load of money, is trying to follow up on pirates.

I'm obviously not supporting Piracy, I use Spotify Premium all the time, just some added info.

Also adding onto that, here is more info about the Music Bay;

It's planned for ~April time.
The way your posts are sounding I doubt that very much. You need to learn more about music files, and the quality from where you get them, before you start acting smart.
I can listen to audio on YouTube without bitching about how shit it is. Read my posts. I never got into technicalities like you suggest, I just said that, despite the fact that it's mono, it can still sound alright.
I think you need to actually read my posts before you start acting smart.
Sheesh, you people.
Wouldn't it be cool if there was a button on a page like TheMusicBay that enabled you to transfer money directly to the artists's bank, PayPal or whatever? Even though a lot of people wouldn't voluntarily give up their money it would be pretty nice to be able to give your support to an artist directly, bypassing the dumb record companies altogether.
I don't usually download music that I like, I buy it to support the record label.
Studying something for 2 years does not make you and expert.
Edit:
And really gives you no real credibility on a site like facepunch.
this thread is full of people trying to get around saying they pirate music but end up saying dumb shit that doesn't make sense and contradicts themselves.
This should be interesting but do you think that it might be somebody else who bought the domain just as a parody of TPB?

I'm sure Mono can sound great, but bitrates around 64 kpbs is no "technicality" regardless of situation. You'd notice how shit the quality is even through cellphone speakers.
Full Discographies for bands to download is my bet.

For all the ignorant teenagers who used to use LimeWire and now have no where else to go?

I didn't say it does, but it gives me enough to make a decent judgement about it for myself.
I couldn't care less if people like you found me credible, to be honest.

It might've been the most successful, but the artists aren't the ones getting all that money. The labels are.
Download music, send money to artist. They'll see more of it that way.
