But it's a alpha! But it's a beta! But it's just released! But they'll patch it! I didn't want to post an image macro, but you get the point
That's only really applicable in beta. Otherwise, what you're saying is a game should be 100% in pre-alpha, which may be the dumbest thing I've heard today. [editline]20th January 2014[/editline]
WaW was just a reskinned CoD4, I always considered it more of a standalone expansion than a separate game. Still very good.
Seriously? WaW had tanks, zombies, way different weapons, more killstreaks, the first mappacks, etc. Not even close to the same game.
While I'm not a big fan of the COD style almost zero recoil, this game does look like fun.
i can see the source engine in this when i see the AI grouping up and crouching in a small blob behind no cover lol
Remember guys. EA does not own this company, they are only handling distribution.
While I'm not a big fan of the COD style almost zero recoil, this game does look like fun.
the no recoil thing is more of a source thing too :v call of duty has huge recoil, i mean have you ever tried firing the machine guns full auto
the no recoil thing is more of a source thing too :v
Uhh no, not at all? Counter strike guns have loads of recoil although it may not seem like it because there isn't much screen shake. [editline]21st January 2014[/editline] Call of Duty has lots of screen shake but the guns barely get affected accuracy wise.
Uhh no, not at all? I'm not sure how you can think that about COD, I completely disagree. No point in arguing.

My only real issue with the gameplay is the sound. Some of the guns sound sorta light and toyish to me. But that's a very minor thing to complain about, and the sounds could very different in the final product.
a whole new game and they still use the same fucking shitty character animations. I'm literally fucking boiling with indescribable amounts of raging hell-fury.
Oh jeez, it's this argument again. Valve hasn't used new animations in the HL2 games since 2004 unless it's a scripted cutscene. Every single Half-Life anthology game uses the same animations. Valve never ever adds a new TF2 animation unless it's absolutely required. Tony Hawk's Underground through American Wasteland used all the same animations unless it was a new feature. The new Batman games all use the same character animations. Fallout 3 and New Vegas used a ton of the same animations. Unreal Tournament 2003 and 2004 use a ton of the same content, let alone animations. A bunch of the Counter-Strike anthology animations are all the same. A bunch of the GTA 3 trilogy games used the same animations. The original Dooms had a bunch of the same animations. The Assassin's Creed games had a bunch of the same animations. I could go on and on. Point being: Stop trying to use this as validity to hate something. If there isn't a reason to put effort into making a whole new animation, why the hell would you? That's time and money that could be put into something else like, I dunno, actual gameplay, perhaps?
