Creature starts to gain milkier eyes and is now able to see better. He moves up farther but is still much lower than the level where the shore is. Back light is gone because it isn't necessary anymore and the creature doesn't need to rely on it now that it is moving up.

I think he meant the other creatures administering selective forces on our creature in order for its evolution to be less spontaneous and more realistic.

I mean like our creature will evolve based on what is around it. (i.e Larger fins to escape shark) This would follow natural selection in a way and keep this thread at least stay semi-realistic.
At any rate, anything that's not scenery or the creature is going to make the picture end up being a cluster fuck just like everything else on here. The only reason scenery is ok is because I'm assuming the creature is going to eventually move out of this scene.
