I know that the number that's usually mentionned is you get around a dollar in revenue for each 1000 to 2000 views on a monetized video. Subscriptions aren't actually a guarantee of revenue if your subscribers don't actually watch your videos.

If anyone really wants to make a dent, go after their sponsors.

I'd being more willing to understand the fine bros. doing this if their channel was actually an original idea and trailblazer (but it's not, lol....) these bros aren't as fine as their name says they are :v:

If you check out YouTube, Operation Repo episodes get tens of thousands of views. Docudrama's are interesting because it's "real life drama", whether it's fabricated or not.

The graph someone posted a page back shows how minuscule this drop is. It's just amazing to watch the backlash and see the numbers fall.

I wonder if they learned what they were doing was wrong. Or them finally deciding to stand down is just heavy damage control to stop anymore loss of revenue.

As much as I hate them and as much as I know it's just for PR, that article sounds pretty humbled. I didn't expect them to actually take this back.
