oh god the comments "The fine bros were right. Historians hundreds of years in the future will look back on this eventful day and study it: [✔] Hindenburg (1937) [✔] Chernobyl (1986) [✔] Fine Bros (2016)"
What are you talking about? The Fine Bros are much more important than any of the previous historical events. Don't you know the "impact" react videos have on the world?
The really funny thing is that this thread, as well as the discussions on reddit/neogaf/etc., will serve as far better 'time capsules' than anything the Fine Bros. came up with, notwithstanding the racism one.
Their KON-Y 2012 is pretty much an important time capsule to tell future generations.
This thread, the youtube responses and the reddit threads are all reactions to what they're doing. So, maybe they'll sue us all.
This thread, the youtube responses and the reddit threads are all reactions to what they're doing. So, maybe they'll sue us all.
Don't worry, I'm in the process of trademarking suing, so if the sue us I'll just send them a cease and desist order.
This thread, the youtube responses and the reddit threads are all reactions to what they're doing. So, maybe they'll sue us all.
First, the internet. Then, The World!

The bit with that guy's blinking made me physically uncomfortable.
They look like the fake human dude from the intro scene of men in black.
There still dropping
There still dropping
Good. They really deserve no praise for the shit they've done.
They've done nothing but bully other channels.
There still dropping
I hope they hit zero subscribers.
Little funfact: The Fine Bros contacted me last year and wanted me to work on an animated show for them. A full-time thing, basically. But they couldn't deliver any kind of payment figures or any information on the project and left most of it under the guise of "you'll get exposure!". Yea herd about this already but thats pretty cheap to not pay someone and that exposure thing is bullshit,. [editline]2nd February 2016[/editline]
at the current rate its dropping this would take 590 days
they went down from 3,000 or so at least in the past 8 hours and I just want to see them go under 10 mill and lose there Diamond Play thing Youtube.
I hope they hit zero subscribers.
There'll probably be millions of people who are subscribed but won't unsub simply because they won't be aware of this (or care).
There'll probably be millions of people who are subscribed but won't unsub simply because they won't be aware of this (or care).
yea Is why I think for a really goal hoping to drop below 10 mill is more likely
The "payment in exposure" excuse? They're officially the worst kind of people, they probably have millions in revenue and won't even give a hundred bucks to a guy who's going to make content for them under their name, which means people will just remember it as a finebros thing. Fine Bros are the new Koch Bros
everwhere on Reddit ( where the kind of person who sub to these guys tend to go to ) are bringing up there dark past on how they would bully other channels. I don't think this will die down anytime soon them removing React World, is just a paddle back and I believe most people know this and aren't falling for there half - assed sorry
Those low balling shmucks. I've seen that "oh but you'll get exposure" trick that pathetic people try use on artists. Payment is payment, payment that is needed to put food on the table and bills. You can't really live off of exposure unless it comes with payment.
dont worry you can cash in your exposure at the bank, its roughly 1 exposure per thousand dollars
relevant blog post
There'll probably be millions of people who are subscribed but won't unsub simply because they won't be aware of this (or care).
To be honest, I like their videos; they have nice people in them, who I wish this whole fiasco didn't affect. But I suppose this is like voting with your wallet.
I seriously can't believe they trademarked "try not to smile or laugh," they literally ripped that name from those prehistoric youtube videos of assorted LOLcats and those super photoshopped pictures from like 2002
tbh you should've asked more about it so they can actually give you solid information on how much you're getting paid and how much you are doing
I did ask that. And I never heard back from them. [editline]3rd February 2016[/editline]
Yea herd about this already but thats pretty cheap to not pay someone and that exposure thing is bullshit,
Jaltoid seems to have gotten a similar suggestion. I'm willing to bet it's the same email copy-pasted to a bunch of animators on the off chance that someone would just blindly say yes - which is extremely fucking low of them.
