I still can't get over how smug and obnoxious they look.
Watching the first video they put out was cringe as fuck. It was blatant it was trying so hard to be hip and and hit all the right trendy millennial notes and buzzwords.
I would be shitting my pants if I lost this many subscribers this fast.
-snippy snip snip-
Sad to say they're still gonna have a shit load of subscribers when all of this is over. I think Markiplier has like 10-11 mil. These guys still have 2-3 mil to spare before they go below him.
link/proof?
First thing I found: https://www.reddit.com/r/videos/comments/43fdw3/seniors_react_originally_posted_apr_3_2012_was/
That's kinda insane that it's only 10 days worth of subs that they lost in total though. Unless this continues to happen for months they will easily be able to shrug this off within a few weeks.
The biggest hit will be with their sponsors, with whom they do brand integration. Most recently, it was Netflix on these two videos: https://youtu.be/2PHccYowfo4 https://youtu.be/zlySatupvR8 Look at the comments and the like/dislike bar. There's also a lot of articles and videos floating around that show them in a pretty negative light. Netflix probably isn't too happy about being associated with such a toxic brand, so I imagine that they and other companies will be very apprehensive about working with them in the future. They're also a pretty decently sized company, according to LinkedIn they employ over 50 people. That's a ton of overhead for a YouTube channel, and if they lose a significant amount of sponsorship money it won't be long until they're forced to do layoffs.
guys its a social experement to see how the world reacts to this idea
Waiting for the 13 million subsciber special on their channel :joy:
Can we get below 13M by the end of the week?
Seems a bit over-optimistic, but they have gone from 14,080,100 accounts to 13,992,500 as of the time of this post, so they seem to be bleeding a pretty healthy amount of accounts nevertheless.
They should start administering fines against people/groups/companies that try to make outrageous copyrights on thing such as this.
Haha, wow - almost 800 people are indulging in some top class schadenfreude right now!
In less than 40 minutes, the viewer count has jumped from almost 800 to over 2,200. Talk about impressive!
2400 people watching a stream of their numbers fall.
In a few moments, they will have lost almost 90,000 subscribers! :goodjob:
never mind it's in the 13m's now
They could probably turn a profit if they hosted the stream of their sub count going down themselves. If they added in then audibly panicking on microphone they'd make bank off of the ad revenue :v:
I found these on their twitter page :v: [t]https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CZbwWJWWcAE6C95.png[/t] [t]https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CZhfrGzUsAAW3ll.png[/t] [t]https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CZmeTabXEAIKg1x.png[/t]
oh god the cringe
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r2UqT6SZ7CU why is it saying over 14M here though?
Sub count on youtube itself is notoriously fucked. I've got a shits and giggles channel with about seventy and it still freaks out when people subscribe, even though it's such a tiny number.
Its like watching a companies stock prices tank
But it's more fun because we all know why and we want it to happen.
Therer Damage Control video is worse than the first
I checked in on YouTube chat, and they said Fine Bros have lost 100,000+ subs! :goodjob: :poot:
lol theres a stream where you can watch both of their channels die https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WH0qahqv5YM
I can't believe over 4000 people are actually watching this right now
I can't believe over 4000 people are actually watching this right now
what is the one of left and right? is left there 2md channel?
I wonder what would happen if people abused the copyright system by flagging their videos on behalf of the creators of the content that FineBros were recording people reacting to. I'm not going to lie, the irony of it all sure would be delicious.
what is the one of left and right? is left there 2md channel?
Yeah, the second channel on their right is their main channel. I don't know about the first channel, but I assume it's some spin off channel?
Yeah, the second channel on their right is their main channel. I don't know about the first channel, but I assume it's some spin off channel?
it's their react channel
it's their react channel
I thought their react videos would have been hosted on their main channel.
