Come on, can't you justify your choices a bit better?
Lord of the Rings trilogy. Beautiful music, it all sounds like it was all composed right in Middle-Earth. Although you did leave out my personal favorite: Also: Saw I - Simply put, it fits very well with the move and I think it is an amazing soundtrack. I must say the LOTR OST is probably my favorites.
The "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" soundtrack is very good, all the music in it suites the film perfectly and its enjoyable to listen to the musing of Roul Duke before a song begins.
Scott Pilgrim Vs the World Original Score Songs remind me of video game music and the classic days of the NES.
It's fucking awesome, it's a great soundtrack for a great movie.
It's just a collection of songs from other artists though.
American Pie 2 OST was quite nice.
It's just a collection of songs from other artists though.
Pffffffdfffffffhahahahaaaaaaaaaaaa Haaaaaaaaaaaahaha Ha ha hmmmm.....
It's just a collection of songs from other artists though.
Your point being?
i.e., not produced for the film itself. [editline]01:20PM[/editline] Meh, I just find it hard to take a movie soundtrack seriously when it has few to no original songs. I guess it's just me.
i.e., not produced for the film itself. [editline]01:20PM[/editline] Meh, I just find it hard to take a movie soundtrack seriously when it has few to no original songs. I guess it's just me.
It is about the "feel" the soundtrack gives to the movie. If the soundtrack is awful for the movie, then it is an awful movie really. But then again that is a bit biased :/
I agree, it's just that to me the soundtrack itself isn't as interesting when it's all stuff we've heard before out of the film's context. I can't listen to it and be like "oh yeah, that movie was great", instead I think "oh yeah, that artist/album was good". If the songs all fit the context then great, it's still a good soundtrack. But, at least for me, music has a bigger impact the first time I hear it. I'm just thinking more about the music and less about the context of the film, my fault. [editline]05:21PM[/editline] I don't know if I'm making sense.
Makes sense :v:
Not a movie, but the Lost soundtrack is brilliant.
