Review's kind of crappy actually.
He can't even review a bad movie well and compares gotg to Howard the Duck lol.

Can't wait for Redlettermedia to tear into this.
5:05 I'm used to anime proportions, but whoa big.
Yeah, it's a very fanservice-y show. But don't worry, it's self-aware so it doesn't try to be anything deep.
If its as vicious as his review of GOTG then holy shit.
He talked shit about one of my favorite movies? like how?!
He talked shit about one of my favorite movies? like how?!
One out of 4, compared it to Green Lantern and Howard the Duck.
One out of 4, compared it to Green Lantern and Howard the Duck.
I can't speak for Green Lantern, as I haven't seen it but I really wanna know how high you have to be to put GOTG, hell, any modern Marvel movie on the same level as fucking Howard the Duck.
One out of 4, compared it to Green Lantern and Howard the Duck.
How does this man live with himself? Oh, wait. This is the same man who said the reveal of Super Mario Bros 3 stuck out in his memory the same way that Vietnam and 9/11 do.
If its as vicious as his review of GOTG then holy shit.
What the fuck this man is true evil
No not Moviebob, the New York Post guys someone posted earlier.
Well I'm fucking retared then.
That's one of the silliest reasons someone could think of. Unless you're from tumblr.
even Mike "Ein Reich" Stoklasa thought sandler was being super racist in Jack and Jill, Adam Sandler is just an all-round dirtbag like that
80s nostalgia (even for people who weren't alive in the 80s) is big right now
Nah, it's all about 90s nostalgia, even though I was 2 when the 90s ended I buy into 90s nostalgia.
I can't speak for Green Lantern, as I haven't seen it but I really wanna know how high you have to be to put GOTG, hell, any modern Marvel movie on the same level as fucking Howard the Duck.
haven't watched the videos but probably because they're really simple and have nothing intelligent to say. I can understand why people like them but it's not really like you ever thought the heroes would loose or anything like that, and the characters themselves were mostly boring anyway.
One out of 4, compared it to Green Lantern and Howard the Duck.
I couldn't disagree with that review more
[...]amid dialogue that’s a jarring mix of fusty Conan-the-Barbarian-isms (“Spare me your foul gaze, woman”) and bro talk (“They got my d -  - k message!”)

Drax issues dumb-guy chatter that’s meant to bring relief to low-IQ audience members. He doesn’t get metaphors, see? “Nothing goes over my head. My reflexes are too fast.” Hey, Drax, Joey Tribbiani thinks your shtick is old.
He complains about how jarring Drax's dialogue is when the contrast is done on purpose. I wouldn't have a problem with him disliking it if he realized that, but I'm not too sure he does since he also compares Drax's lack of understanding of metaphors with Joey, ignoring the core difference that is that fact that Joey's stupidity is, well, exactly that- plain old stupidity, while Drax isn't inherently dim-witted, it's the vast cultural differences that turn the situations comical. Both still fit the role of being unintentionally funny, but I think they did a nice twist on it, and it's weird that he didn't even bother to comment on it.
For background filler there are tunes from Peter’s beloved ’70s pop mixtape. Out: John Williams. In: “The Piña Colada Song.”
Again, nothing wrong with complaining about it as long as you realize it's intentional (and I don't feel like he does here either), and if we're talking about a soundtrack filled with 70s hits in a space epic (which I'd call more of an odd yet pleasant mix rather than jarring) I don't see how it could be any more obvious that the disparity was done on purpose. That's not even my biggest problem with that quote, though. What's frustrating to me is that someone would criticize a film for being uninspired one second, and move on to calling for tedious, blatantly overdone epic orchestral music the next. Haven't we had enough of the dull Zimmer style soundtracks, with deafening drums and generic heroic melodies? Is it too much to admit that even though you didn't like the result, the idea behind it was creative, especially for a blockbuster on the level of Gotg? I'd say this guy has something against Marvel blockbusters, if he hadn't rated the first Captain America higher than Drive. Perhaps it's just the big scale stuff that he's not into, but then again he also praised The Avengers. Maybe it's space he hates? Or does he have an unexplainable grudge against James Gunn? An extreme loathing of raccoons, maybe? here's his review by the way http://nypost.com/2014/07/31/guardians-of-the-galaxy-is-space-junk/
That's one of the silliest reasons someone could think of. Unless you're from tumblr.
There's absolutely nothing sexist about a movie where all the game characters but one are pixelated, and the one that isn't is an attractive woman who exists in the movie purely for eye candy, who is then physically owned by a man who obsessed over her at the end. Nothing at all. Those silly feminists are at it again, obviously. [editline]25th July 2015[/editline] Like, being non-sarcastic, you can debate on a lot of stuff these days being sexist and neither side is totally right, but this is a pretty clear-cut case of sexism. A woman is literally owned as a trophy.

Kevin James playing as the president sounds like a painfully unfitting role for him.
